Guys my client switched by itself to aurora graphics a couple of days ago when i logged in. Was pissed because all my settings were lost but I was able to switch it off in settings. Logged in today after reading all the complaints and I can still use the regular graphics... hoping it will last...

I hated it too at first but if you change theme and then go to table appearance and change your cards to normal and change animation to graphics quality low and how the cards are dealt it gets better

Spoke too soon... logged out for lunch and logged back in... now I can only use aurora... worse yet first hand I played, tables faded white and it froze up!!!

Edit: tried 3 times. Each time table fades white and goes unresponsive after a few hands... I get a windows popup saying "Pokerstars Client not responding" and I have to close it. Man this sucks. Been sticking it out thru all the crappy changes in the rewards and the piss poor customer service because the games are still soft and good but I think this is the last straw.. time to bail out

Same here..keeps freezing, lagging.Who the f**k asked this garbage? Literally i cannot continue to play here.I have been a loyal customer maybe more than 10 years now.Only because the no1 software.Not the non existent rakeback, nor the non existent promotions..or because this room treats his customers like a dumb monkey..No.I am using this site because the class leader software..and now this happens, a FORCED "better experience".Thank you Pokerstars!

Someone got money for this decision, please fire him already and take back that money and give him this shithole.

Unplayable. Its amazing how slow your holecards is showed (atleast in omaha). Im gonna vote with my feet and cashout BR and come back when old skin is back. gg PS for a while.

Aurora has been unplayable on my laptop, can open a table and get dealt cards but unable to input bet sizes as it freezes up and bets 1bb after being unresponsive.

Figured that as it was being made mandatory these issues would be fixed, but no. Still unplayable, have all the graphics on the lowest setting and issues are the same, no idea why they've done this when it's clear it makes the site unusable for lots of people...

There is a temporary fix to get the old engine, probably won't last long. You need to delete all files in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\PokerStars\ImgCache everytime before you start the client.

Just registered a $0.25 sng to make sure it wasn't just zoom that wasn't working and from the one hand I witnessed most people are having issues. Several players timed out/weird bet sizes etc. What a cock up.

Agree - new software seems a real downgrade, have had it disabled since the start.

Fewer table themes (eg I like HU table seats left to right, can't organise like that).
Note taking in Zoom is awful, label colour menu bugs out, can only use my desktop as my (pretty good) laptop crashes.

Emailing support gives an autoreply about how great the new software is.

What a mess.

innerpsy is currently streaming and able to disable aurora w/ this solution, but im afraid to do it

but he's on stars team so i guess this is okay

Absolutely ridiculous!

I tried to adjust my settings and now it is even ****tier than it was!
I can hardly see my cards & table font is soooo small.

Why would I continue to play on this site?

I too am going to take a break & remove my money unless they bring back the option to not use Aurora garbage.
