Because it makes fish play good. Go to software forum and learn about AHK hotkeys. Not only can only you make your own bet pot button, but you can make it 80% or 70% or w/e you prefer instead.

Until then, I'll move my roll to a site with working software (I never thought I'd say this, but even CAKE has better software than you now...).

stars sent me an email saying someone else had this problem, they used StarsPlanner, and when they stopped using it, this problem went away. it worked for me.

1) i love the new black theme but it doesnt seem like AHK is going to make it work for it any soon

2) the pot button at NL50 doesnt work quite as i want it to work.... when i pot it... it makes even numbers so if i wanna open 1.75 it makes it 2$ and i need pot button mainly to make fast open raises.... so it kind of sucks...

3) the AHK is ****ing mess to understand how to make everything work... like how to change keys and what does what.... anyhow....

anyway.... how exactly fish play better without pot button? they make their bets smaller?

I would like if the lobby showed when people were sitting out, so I wouldn't have to constantly keep opening HU tables just to see the person isn't even there, which is like half of the time.

exactly they let you draw and showdown cheap and telegraph their weakness with weak bets rather than standard pot button mashing letting you win tons of extra pots daily

Better to stick with hypersimple theme than have the fish play competent. I use bet pot and it raises I think 80% 80% 75% 67%. You can use the mouse wheel to adjust and it rounds to whole sbs not whole bbs (not the wheel). I haven't bothered adjusting it. Yeah it's too complicated to adjust for me too, but I'm fine with standard set up. Also starshotkeys for extra specific amounts like 2.5/3.5bb gives me all i need.

im a little annoyed by the instant HH window. every time you open it for the first time in a session, you only see two hands on the list at the top.

every time you start a session, you have to stretch that part of the window. there's no reason why that half needs to be so tiny - please show like ten hands there instead of two

or better yet, have it retain its resized state when the application launches. Also, there are some bugs in the instant hand history and visualizer for draw games.

what about adding option to put colours to every user for easier table selecting ? i mean it shouldnt be that hard right? like different colours around the player avatar bubble....

If i don't have any time bank left, there needs to be some sort of strong indication to that affect. My brain is trained that when i have a difficult decision i just hit the "time" button whenever it appears. Anytime you are going to fold somebody's hand there needs to be a STRONG WARNING and a VISIBLE COUNTDOWN b4 that happens.....A subtle "you have 8 seconds remaining" message is not enough. Full Tilt software handles this much much better and this is a major deficiency of pokerstars...

+1, its really a hassle to reg for new sngs when theres already 20 running, too many clicks to reg 1 sng

Stars just announced a five minute server shutdown. Hopefully it's to bring some more hardware online.

how bout giving us a 5 minute warning on the restart instead of the next hand so we can actully leave the games beforehand

i would like a Get Off All Waiting Lists button or hotkey.

Yeah seriously guys, it sometimes takes up to 2 minutes before a new sng appears after the other one filled and another minute to registert for it... Makes it really really hard and unenjoyable to play 40 tables.

With the new Double or Nothing SNGs, it would really help to add a "# of players remaining" notation somewhere on the table. Multi-tabling and constantly have to count whether there are 6 or 7 players left is frustrating. Thanks.

There was a looping message scrolling in the lobby notifying the restart hours before it happened. Standard every time one is scheduled.

Larger font option for the bet and pot counts. Alternate deck is great, but it can be difficult to read these numbers.

Please reduce the incentives for short stackers and nits.

Two good ways to do this are:

1. switch to a "proportional to pot contribution" FPP formula rather than a "dealt into the hand" FPP formula.
2. Make all (or most) tables 50bb minimum buy-in. Given that PokerStars has stakes as low as 2NL there is no excuse for not being able to buy in at 50bb.

Using a "dealt rake" type FPP system increases the incentive for short stacking and nits who freeload off of LAGs who are taking the risk to create larger pots. Some nit with a VPIP of 6 should not be earning far more VPPs simply because he manages to sit at a table with 3+ LAGs. VPP/FPP rewards should be proportional to risk taken (i.e. money contributed to the pot).

While I realize changing the FPP system would be a big change, you could at least give us some 50bb minimum tables in the microstakes cash games. That should be easy enough.

And while we're at it, let's reduce the incentives for anyone else to play at Poker Stars.

If you wanna short stack against other short stacks fine but that isn't what short stackers want. They want to sit at a table with deep stacks.

If you can earn by being a nit fine.

My beef is with nits and short stacks that collect free FPPs off of LAGs at the table who actually take risks (i.e. contributing to pots that actually generate rake/FPPs) while the nit/SS is folding his way to SuperNova.

Why is it a good idea to have 50bb min tables at high stakes but not a good idea for micro?

What is unfair about getting FPPs proportional to the money you risked in the pot?

Perhaps you'd like to remove the 30 minute rat-holing restriction because you think rat-holing is good for the game? Eff off you short stacking rat holer.
