Also, whenever I open the stars client, I always open the client from the desktop. I almost never type in stars on the start menu to open the client. Thus whenever there is a stars update, it doesn't happen that often. But if you open stars from the start menu, then it does so more often? What is the correct way to open the stars client? I got to assume the shortcut option on the desktop is what most people do?

You can create a shortcut from the non update in stars folder.

Seem to have found a workaround for the hotkeys. x% of pot isn't working as a bet, but it will set the betsize. So if you use one key to signal size and another to post the bet it works.

Hello, has there been a recent update with the Pokerstars hand history file exports? It seems like they are not including the bounty prizes won from knock out tournaments. Will this be resolved soon?

Can anyone here confirm that having a very fast computer will not help against the lag and client crashing issues on stars with aurora? Was trying 16+ tables and my tables literally froze along with HEM3 and starscaption. Starscaption crashed multiple times and so did HEM3. Then even when I open the stars client again and log in, the tables take a long time to load and even if they load, they are frozen for a long time and then you get sat out the entire time unless some of your tables bust... so say if you now have 12 or less tables, it seem only then does the tables load correctly.



Does having a very fast computer mean you will still have these issues regardless? My laptop is an old dell xps 15 9550 with specs of

Even with 32gb ram, I still have these issues. Aurora setting should be low or high? Or does it depend on someone's computer? Also, do you need to set your video card to be your faster one? Recall a while back you had that setting change where you change your graphics for aurora... would that work now or not?

I believe it uses the Intel (R) HD Graphics 530 as the primary but sometimes it changes to the NVidia GeForce when it is using lot of cpu? So do I make all my programs run the NVidia GEForce GTX 960M as oppose to the Intel? But this graphic card is still very old right?



Also if it matters, I use 2 monitors, one is a 32' 4k monitor and the other is a 24' 1920x1200 monitor. Is it possible using 2 different monitors with 2 different resolution could also be causing these lags? I assume not since many people use multiple monitors with different resolutions? Because stars is literally unplayable if you want to run HEM3 and starscaption and say you want to play 12+ tables. Back then before aurora, I remember 20 tabling even with HEM2 and rarely any lag at all.

This new patch is possible the worst ever wtf are they doing?
20-25% of hand histories when playing zoom that are big pots going to showdown never get registered in the hand history. The lagg is insane, the bet sizes no longer work correctly for raising, some table theme interferes if u have right click bound to a hotkey. Probably a ton of other issues that I dont remember, anyone else struggling massively with this patch?

My own client, and ive seen other ppl clients just started crashing randomly a lot more often (after latest updates, was working well before).

Just in case there is a that 0.00000000000000000001% someone who can report that to the team lurking here, i hope they know there are tons of issues related to newest update/servers whatever it is thats been out there for last few days/week(s) and needs to be fixed asap. otherwise its just a circus, esp with how relatively well other sites software working these days.

Can`t believe that day will come that ill feel there are at least few sites software thats significantly better/feels smooth nice than pokerstars in mid 2022.

I'm more surprised that they haven't just rolled it back themselves rather than pushing this forward across most all their clients. If you watch their sponsored twitch streamers you see some of the same bugs in live time when they are streaming. It's just not a great look in my opinion where many of these issues seem to be universal across the board for most all clients on the most updated build yet they continue to just insist players play on it until the bugs are worked out.

I'm not having any lag with animations completely turned off but I do sometimes seem to have buttons sticking again and not registering on the first click. Is it possible that this might be intentional? maybe some kind of anti bot thing, idk.

I can only assume that there must be security updates and benefits to this newer build or maybe certain aspects to it that run in compliance with the gaming commission for certain supported countries. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense why they'd force these issues on their customers or why their software feels so much worse than it did only a half decade back.

Why does it show 100? Isn't default suppose to be 1? I have no idea why it shows that number. Am I suppose to make that 1 or 4?

I have never done these edits in Stars but it sounds like Stars was open/running when you made the edit. You need to close the PokerStars client before you edit any of its config files or the changes will not be saved.

Did notice when playing, my laptop screen and my smaller monitor but not my main monitor... both had a dark screen for a bit. But not only that, all the programs in the task bar disappeared for quite a while. Thus I couldn't even go to the stars client or anything etc. thus the start menu was not there either. Then after a while, the programs in the task bar all came back. Anyone had this happen to them? I had this happen few times already before this. Does this sound like a graphics card issue?


So basically the only other setting I could do is put the openG1Setting=1 and compare if its better or worst than the openG1Setting=4?


I am wondering if there is anyone here who made their aurora graphics low... and their computer works better that way compared to high. I made aurora graphics high etc.

Is anyone else having the issue of bounty prizes won, not showing up in your PokerTracker4 stats? I'm having to constantly do a manual adjustment, and it is quite tedious. I can't be the only one having this issue. It's been going on since early July I believe.

I just noticed I got that flutter embedded browser a few of them in background processes when playing on stars. How do you remove it? Seems to be causing even more lag?

When I right click it and go to details, i see 2 programs showing on details called

If instead I right click on flutter embedded browser client and click open location, I see it open up a pokerstars folder where it seems to show


PokerstarsBR and its an application. I recall I seen this a while back the flutter embedded browser client a while back but it returned just now again. Do you know what that is and do i delete it and if so, how? Does this cause more lag? Because with HEM3 running, I had tons of lags even just 6 tabling etc. Usually with HEM3 running and only playing stars... the lag comes when its 12+ tabling so this flutter embedded browers client has to be the culprit?


Its when i go to c drive , program files (x86), pokerstars, then click on br folder and I see that application there.

1. there are some fragments of sounds playing sometimes, even though i disabled all sounds except the attention sounds. Thats pretty annoying. If i disable global all sounds, its silent. But i need the attention sounds


2. Plus the hand histories are lately written to the harddrive with a delay about 3-5seconds.. Thats pretty anoying when playing Zoom waiting to get stats for the new table. I only use windwos firewall, nothing else.
