When this happens, close and reopen the table. If you can't reopen the table, close and reopen the client.

Any way to change the felt table color easier and faster on stars tables? Example i want to right click a table and then change it to say orange or red felt color for that a specific table etc.



But to do this on each specific table, you need to right click the specific table, click on table themes, click on felt color drop down menu, click on orange color, then under the cilck under apply to... this table only... then finally click apply. Thus this takes a lot of time if you doing it on each table.



Also is there a way to give different color tables to different tournament tables? Example standard green for regular tournaments... say blue for ko tournaments, orange for turbo tables? All my regular tables seem seem to open up green. Any ko table opens up blue. But certain tournament tables i want to manually change the color of each. Don't mind each table opening up and its the standard green and then i right click each one manually and then change the felt color of the tables i want. But when i do this, every single table non ko table turns to that one default color when i just right click and click on orange. Don't want to do the long method of clicking multiple things just to get that one specific table orange. Recall i had set it last time where ko tables open... they would be always blue color felt color and every other table was green. But how do i make turbo tournaments its own color? How do i at least manually right click and change felt color for some tables without that long process i mentioned?

How many tables can you guys play at once...those who play lot of tables where there isn't lag or client freezing or crashing? Earlier stars froze and stars crashed. This when was 12+ tabling. Then when i try to log back in, get that message of send log message where you could type your issue but says it won't be sent to stars? What's the purpose of that message then? Got that several times when stars crashes each time when trying to relogin to the client. Also all my settings, hotkeys and notes disappeared after the stars crash. So you can't get that back unless you saved a backup? Settings, hotkeys, favorite tournaments etc all no longer show up anymore and erased. You got to do everything over?



I am using HEM2 and starscaption with it. I know most people use HEM or pokertracker. The moment you hit 12 tables or more, these issues start to occur though few times I gotten it sometimes going without the lag but then lag eventually happens. Once you bust out of a tournament, you get that stars message of do you want to reenter.... that basically freezes all my tables. You can't just click yes or to to reenter or not as you need to press it many times and it lags all your other tables. Thus its never a smooth click unless you are currently playing like 8 or less tables. Anyone have this issue?



Once tried doing around 18 tables and then the client was frozen and i couldn't click on nothing. When I went to close client, it took a long time and had to control alt delete to close the stars client.. Then when reopen the stars client, the tables don't even pop up? Some do but you can't do anything to the tables as those are frozen. Doesn't matter if you close the client and reopen it. Seem only way for the tables to restore would be if say many tables bust and you have say 10 or less tables opened? So basically with aurora, its impossible to play lot of tables without lag and frozen and crashes? Sitting out at many tables and can't even get tables to reopen.



Do people who have really fast laptop or desktop still have this issue? I'm using an old dell xps 15 9550 from years ago but its i5-6300hq quad core processor and 1tb ssd and 32gb ram. So shouldn't that much ram be enough? Before aurora, years ago when I had only 8gb ram, i rarely had any issues with stars lag or client crashing even when 18+ tabling though rarely I don't play more than 12 tables. So basically impossible for those people to 18+ table or more to play on stars anymore due to aurora? I remember years ago, there were some players who would 24 or even 30 table. So that is impossible now with aurora?



Also does the stars client or other poker clients need a good video card nowadays? Have an intel hd 530 graphics and a nvidia geforce 960m and when running stars/hem2 and starscaption, it seems to use a bit of the nvidia geforce 960m graphics card? Does that even matter? When using chrome and doing other things, notice it never shows it using the nvidia one ever on task manager performance tab when looking at both of those GPUs. So are you suppose to use the nvidia geforce as your main video card for everything if you don't want lagging? Because I tried that but it doesn't seem to help and cause more lag?

Anyone also has problems with mutlitable setting since the new software update? Hotkeys are not working proberly for me anymore...

It's a complete disaster. Normally I multitable 20 tables stacked on Carbon lite theme, which is supposed to be the most performance focused theme. The information widget is NOT customizable, so I can't disable it, even on that theme... horrendous ****! Not to mention, alot of functionalities under Settings -> Multi-Tabling they simply don't work anymore. The auto-close tournament with no pop-up doesn't work just to take an example. This means everytime I bust a tournament I have to be distracted for about 2 seconds to close it.

Is Pokerstars TRYING to lose all their customers to GG network?

Yes I have the exact same problems you mention.

Apparently it's only the danish client as far as I'm aware...

Please remove the Responsible Gaming links on the tables or at least put it in the drop down menu.

I have clicked it so many times on accident while multi-tabling. The placement puts it right under the refresh button of live play results on HM3 when you have HM3 on full screen mode ... which is usually what causes me to click it.

This happens to me a lot too. Really annoying!!

You can hide it via StarsCaption, if you use it.

Layout editor / Hide elements / Hide left-top widgets

FYI: HM3 Live Play view has a [x] 'Automatically Refresh' toggle in the upper left corner so you don't need to manually refresh that view when playing.

I actually use that option, but sometimes I still am too impatient ... lol.

Still, I sometimes end up accidentally clicking the button even without messing around on HM3.

It doesn't actually do anything, except open a popup window (which I promptly close) ... but I can't help but feel like there is someone in a back room at Pokerstars or Michigan gaming thinking ... omgz look how many times he clicked the button! He must have a gambling problem but can't admit it ... even though I'm beating the games soundly.

So i am not alone with this kind of thinking xD

Has stars changed how it saves the notes? Seems before when I needed to ctrl alt delete the process I lost the notes taken on session, but I think i didn't on last time.

Does anyone know exactly when are the notes saved? Sometimes I get bugs and need to decide to keep a table and kill the process or leave table and would be usefull if there was a way around.

fish & chips, open/close Tools / Player Notes Editor, and notes will be saved (client forces save when this window is closed)

The notes are in C:/Users/YourWindowsUserName/AppData/Local/Pokerstars and it's the file notes.YourPokerStarsSN.xml

Does anybody else still get the attention sound play (quieter than usual but still there) even when they have selected to turn it off.

Also, to turn off those stupid, misleading badges I have to select enable and then disable every single time I open up a new table.

Unbelievable how Stars have gone from the best software by a mile to this buggy piece of crap.

Anyone else missing hand histories lately? I go to replayer and the hand just played isn't there, and it's missing in PokerTracker as well.

Is there a way to not use any tournament dollars and just your cash balance assuming you have tournament dollars when registering for tournaments or sngs?


Back then I believe this was possible to use cash first and not tournament dollars but now it isn't?

The latest pokerstars update has introduced significant lag when playing more than 4 tournaments due to:

-"beta" thing in the top right during tounrmanets-its causing signficant. Does anyone know how to remove that?
-"autoclose tournament without notification". despite having autoclose checked, tournaments are not closed and it comes with a notification...causing significant lag.

Does anyone know of a fix to these issues?

Was there an update which causes hand histories not to save villains' mucked hands? If so, is there a way I can have them save or is it forced?

Seems like I need to mash on the bet action buttons lately... often needing to click on it 2 or 3 times. Is this happening for others? (it fk'n SUCKS especially while playing MTT's, thinking I'm good to go as far as placing my attention elsewhere). Also, what is up with the timing out noise these days (ba-dump... instead of 'beep-beep-beep'). It also sucks!

Sorry no fix but can verify I'm having them myself since that change in the top right. My auto rebuy, etc in the client doesn't work either. I'm forced to re-enter or close tourneys and rebuy and addon manually even having those things set to automatic within the client.

A few other things since that update.....

My timebank on Mercury Aurora will often load and show zero seconds for a few seconds even though I have timebank and I can see it in the info tab. Eventually it updates to show the true seconds counting down so annoying visual glitch for me since that update. I also dont' know why badges for people are now showing up on my tables as that was turned up before and now I see all the WCOOP, event, badges, etc.

This was a problem for me for a long time with having to click the button multiple times and I have a decent system running. It started around the time they forced Aurora on everybody. I cannot say I still have it as much but may happen on occasion now. No idea of a fix on this either, I think it just fixed itself eventually in an update for me.

You can change the sounds in the client to whatever noises you want, maybe take sound file from another client that you enjoy better and replace the stars ones with those ones. Cheers
