As if it makes any difference which five regs sit with the rec on a given table, the end result is the exact same. They sure put a lot of time and energy into things that have basically no effect.

Has anyone else been locked out of Pokerstars UK since the last update?

It always used to check for updates, do the update, then load the software.

Now it loads the software and then tells me I need to update. I then get stuck in an infinite loop.

I'm still running on Vista which I think may be the problem.

Have contacted stars who asked me to send them some log files but they haven't got back to me. I did tell them I was running on Vista so you'd think if that is the problem they'd have let me know rather than asking for said files.

Tried FullTilt and that boots up the client but then the "network won't connect".

I'm tempted to try a full uninstall reinstall, but then I'd lose all of my favourites (of which I have dozens).

Honestly they just keep managing to make the site worse and worse and laggier and laggier. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Sod all the flashy graphics and options. Who needs 'em. All I wanna do is play cards on an un-buggy site.

In fact I'm so cross can anyone recommend another site with a decent amount of tournament traffic? (Please don't say 888).

Not sure if this is the thread but something weird just happenned. I was playing nl10 and then after a hand all games stopped. After waiting for it to resume and nothing happened I closed and reopened the client and it takes me back to the tables I was playing but they are still "freezed". Anyone else seen this happen to them today?

i started playing on gg 3 months ago, so far 0 crash or disconnect. on the other hand stars would randomly freeze at least once a day.

I'm having the same problem and I have Windows 10 and it's with the PokerStars.eu client, I even tried to do a fresh install of PokerStars, but makes no difference. I'm not playing on PokerStars these days anyway, just had a few Starscoin left that I wanted to squander, so not really bothered to chase it up, but yeah, seems to be basically stuck in a loop.
