Wow, this is ****ing ridiculous. So glad I never kept up with updates. Was forced to update today. VPP counter is gone, and there's no way to even filter the lobby for specific stakes.

This is still there. Atleast in cash Main lobby Cash - Stakes - Custom range. Or if you want just like 2nl and 50nl and 10plo then just make them favorite and use the Favorites tab with the current games.

Thanks. Was searching everywhere. Still pissed about VPP counter. It's probably a deliberate move to coincide with the ****ty new rakeback scheme next month.

I do, I'm in Europe on regular .com client.
It's still an Alpha version and only 1'000 play money chips SNGs are available so far for me.

The concept is kinda fun but people take ages to play and think 10min about which power-ups use and how, this is painful.

not sure if others are experiencing this but my mouse wheel when scrolling on bet slider and bet box works occasionally instead of everytime like it used to?

The Events tab of my PS client has been bugged for so long. Mentioned it before, but still no fix, while the rep said they were working on it. For any tab under the Events tab, except for Live, all it ever shows is Loading... for ever. No tourneys ever show. For SCOOP I had to manually search every tournament in the Tourney tab, and for MicroMillions it will probably be the same... Very, very annoying. Tried reinstalling many times, as well as reloading to an old config file I found. Nothing seems to work. Please fix this PS!

So I was running an oder version of PokerStars that I found on my laptop because as we know, for last 6 months or so the software has been a total disaster. But today, when I tried to log in I got this error message, telling me to "upgrade" the software otherwise I won't be able to play.



I mean, what is this? Nazi Germany? Why am I not allowed to run an older version of the software? (one that works perfectly fine by the way). Now I HAVE to "upgrade" to get all the benefits like disconnections, random crashes, freezing and all the other great stuff that Pokerstars has provided us for the last 6 months or so. Fantastic!

not 100% sure but prob something to do with fact about the licensing laws changed and it went separate brackets .com .uk .eu etc

Just a quick update to my own post. I just "Upgraded" the software and guess what? First time I try to run it it freezes. Haha. How surprising...

Leaving aside your douchebag comparison of comparing a software upgrade to Nazi Germany for a moment, it's pretty normal and reasonable for a company to require that its customers use the most recent version of software for a whole variety of different reasons.

Without reference to anything specific in the PokerStars software over the last few months, some key reasons for requiring customers to use the most current version of software includes:
-fixing bugs in software, especially behind-the-scenes security updates that are not obvious to you
-reducing the load on their customer support of providing assistance to customers with out-of-date software
-adding features that improve the player experience
-removing features that are no longer provided by the company

As to that, you're 100% correct. My only issue, and it's more of how I reacted to it, it was the way that the update was forced upon me. I was using an older version who was free from all the bumps we had early this year, and I was really happy with it. Anywho, hepofully things turn out to be good from now on (aside from the freeze I got when I tried to run it for the first time).

Wanna report that Chests Progress Bar is stuck on tables(at least for me).Stuck as "cannot remove it from top right corner".
I have unchecked "Stars rewards" in table appearance tab but its still there.
@RebeccaTwigley I read in another thread that some people have their balance removed too,write an email to PS support and they will check it out.

Please add a feature to automatically open chests. You make me feel like a Chinese factory worker having to manually open chests for ~$0,10 each.
