Was so busy lying on the couch doing nothing, forgot to check today's calendar Knew i was staying up for something lol ...

Looks like today's another repeat - it's starting to seem like getting a prize better than the $1 got last time may be the only way this December Calendar shows any improvement?

This month will probably look fantastic compared to what things might be like in January though, so maybe this is the best things will get for a while

Ragedollar again, NL only as usual.

They must be saving up to give us a nice Xmas present.

Stars wasted 48k on that free roll junk

Lulz promo is the same. This is one of the lame cheap advent calendars you buy as gifts for children. Not one of those expensive ones that has different flavored chocolates in each slot.

Does anyone even know if during these promos if they reach the max cash give out for the day. They could be simply free rolling these depending on how many people cash the promos. Kind of ridiculous.

I just hope they improve. On average, each day of the calendar should giveaway $80k but promos like the Cardhunt probably give out at most around $50-60k, then the freerolls, all-in shootouts and "non events" (Micromillions) are even lower. Maybe Imp's right and they're saving up for some juicy promos later on at Christmas (but then I would have thought it would make more sense to have the best value promos at the start to increase the hype and get people playing).

Would be interesting if HostJacob could step in and fill us in with some facts and figures about the calendar. How much has been given out in total in the mega bonus, cardhunt etc.? What's been the most given out in one calendar day so far? Are there any special/noteworthy promos to look out for in the remainder of the calendar?

This is what we got last year on the day of christmas

Think this year they will make this an all-in shootout tourney.

btw HostJacob/Matthew if you're reading this, any chance we'll be seeing challenges what we saw last year like win with a straight flush, win 180s - challenges which everyone talked out? Milestone hands/Golden sit n gos?

Anyone else keeping track how much they get from bonuses this month? Might be fun to compare at end of month, I have all mine in a notepad w/ listed $amount per day.

Also i agree would be cool to have golden sngs back / real challenges such as winning x amount of x but I doubt we will see those since they promote being good at poker

two players share a bounty, the bounty is an odd number so a penny goes to stars, an idea would be to give the person to left of BTN the extra penny?

This is such bullpoop. Why am I so stupid that every day i think ok maybe today is the day there is a promo to play. Person who made the idea about shootout promos should face a lifetime of bad runs.

E would be nice to know how many cashreg like myself plays those spins to get in the shootout?

Yeah the all in shootouts need to **** off tbh, makes a mockery of a poker site.

Here's what I would have done today:
Play 5 Spin n Gos and get a ticket to the next higher game. One time only. Stakes are your average + 1 level up or down. If you're averaging at level 100$ you get 2 $100 tickets.

Didn't know that there was reverse marketing odds to actually turn people away from the site with promotions.

Although I think Uhrenknecht that promo you listed would have been out of this world costly (but amazing). We should be realistic while still calling a pile of crap a pile of crap

okay, then play 10 or 20 Spin n Goes. At 20 games this will be 100% rakeback for those 20 games? doesn't seem that pricey for stars.

LOL! Again, another terrible promotion.

I actually expect trash promos from here on out. If they run a big tournament, that'll be the "promo" while they rake in cash and drain it out of the economy. Yeah, you wonder why your game counts are down.

It's because you have no ****ing clue what you're doing.

I was really looking forward to the Christmas calendar. I played almost every day in January/February chasing my daily dollar or two (which added up in the long run) before getting burnt out. I was really looking forward to getting back into the daily grind, but as a lot of people have mentioned, it really hasn't been worth it. I haven't played a hand of poker since the end of November, and the current promotion isn't doing anything to change that.

honestly its just a repeated slap in the face, just shift your action to other sites. No point in complaining now they obviously give no ****s

First half has been basically all cash. Does that mean the 2nd half is all Sit n Gos?

Highly unlikely.

I think there's more chance of online poker being completely banned worldwide then stars doing another sit n go promo!

That's probably the real prize, randoms betting every river. The 'all in shootout ticket' prize isn't considering I think I have cashed like one shootout out of 10-20 this year. I forget they exist after getting reg'd.

Actually a good promo. Regs make money from cathching randoms bluffs and randoms thinks they can actually win something from that allinshootout.
