To reinstate rakeback for players who create action which is good for the games and Pokerstars overall

In case you're genuinely unaware - Pokerstars has been hostile towards regs/winning players for quite a while now. I agree with you in general but what you're asking will never happen - Stars want fish to degen their entire deposit on Casino/Spins, not lose it to you.

i dont get why theres already 232 players registered into the 1M freeroll if theres no satellite finished at this time ?

Those 232 are new depositors. (its actually 272 at this moment). They get a ticket to play in any of the 3 remaining $1M freerolls by depositing at least $30)

We have to do a simple challenge (lpay a trny or a cash hand of poker) to get registered into an all-in trny which is running everyday. If you win a seat you get registered into the $1M freeroll.

As of this moment there are 37K players registered into the allin trny which starts in 6 hours which will award 8192 seats to the freeroll.

I played one mtt and before that pressed start button for mtt challenge in the poker cash giveaway window and won pokerstars cash giveaway ticket to 500$ freerow tourny. I have only two windows in challenge tab - pyramid and poker cash giveaway. How to win thicket to 1M$ freeroll. TY

I just tried mine and the Million FR was the first challenge showing. Jumped on a zoom cash table, played 1 hand and then got off...boom, challenge complete and was already registered for the all-in shootout. Couldn't be simpler.

It's not country restricted is it?

I had another update when I logged in (am on .com and now using build 13794). Perhaps that has something to do with it and you need an update first.

In BG version there isnt window for 1M FR in challenge tab but i see 3 windows that pop up when i load ps to 3 separate promos.

Do u have it if u use .UK, .BE, .GR etc? I cant see what players are registered coz there are more then 10k?

I only play on .com so, can't help with knowing whats happening in other versions of the client sorry. If you can't see it in your challenge window then, maybe it's not on offer for you for some reason?

You can see what tourneys your registered for by pushing CTRL - R when you have the poker client open.

I won a seat for the $1M Freeroll, Woohoo. $5 here I come, lol.

Won $65.50 last time by placing 1966th out of 36964 players.

In order to win $59.40 this time, I need to place 720-836 out of 75000 players, Yikes!

Its definitely going to be harder for everyone this time, with so many free seats being given away:

Todays 8497 plus
8192 x 8 days = 65336 plus
15000 on last day (skill qualifier) = at least 89033 (add new depositors)

Yeah, was noticing they're expecting 75k-100k entries - so many more than before ... wonder if they'll fix it so that everybody cashes, like last time? Although, guess the more people who get to participate, and the more people who get to cash, the less everybody gets ...

Maybe each one of these $1mil freerolls'll have a different format, and maybe the next one'll be different from the first two?

I agree - lottery prizes for everyone who accepts the promo AND plays one hand of Real Money poker is the way to go. It achieves their goals of activating some players who haven't opened a Real Money table in weeks/months - this will boost the active player count for their quarterly shareholder report even if the most common result is only one extra spin and go or orbit of cash per ex-dormant player.

And of course there's the other route for entry into this lotteryfest which is via making a first deposit - another boost for the 'new depositors' row in the quarterly reports

Depending on the timing of the 3rd & 4th $1,000,000 freerolls they can apply more magic to the 3rd & 4th quarterly reports too or squeeze it all into say the 4th quarter report if that suits them better.

After the fact there was no real publicity by PokerStars on the outcome of the March freeroll. On the corporate blog for the weekend of the freeroll there's no mention at all of the results. That's the interesting story here - the freeroll had served PokerStars' purpose BEFORE it kicked off.

They might even add two more $1,000,000 freerolls this year [which actually cost PokerStars nothing anyway] if those Q report figures require even more massaging upwards. There will be a tweet from Eric "dad, husband, chef, wannabe surfer" Hollreiser [VP of Amaya Corporate Communications] lauding their own generosity...

I'm not concerned about the freeroll payouts currently. I'm more concerned with just being able to get into the freeroll in the first place! Am 0/3 from qualifying all-in shootouts thus far...

Yesterday, my biggest whine would have been that it seems like i haven't won two flips in a row since abou 2014 Today ... don't even have home internet! Haven't had it since yesterday, and they won't be able to come fix it until tomorrow (cries a little bit).

So won't be able to play today's shootout, or anything else Guess if am able to get a ticket to the freeroll next week, that'd be lovely - at this point, would be *thrilled* just to be able to play next week at all ... (cries some more)

Guess will have to spend the day outside, in the sun and fresh air, sigh ...
