its a basic promo. it take minimum 1K hands, its 1h at 24 tabling = 240$ in play and 1h of my life!!! to get a measly prize between 1$-2,50$ ??? i dont know whats fantastic about this promo....

I would say 1k hands is an over-estimate. In my database for full ring it takes an average of 500 hands to win with a straight (should be even more often for 6 max given you play more pots). Then the second part is play 75 hands, and 3rd part win a hand with KK according to my database i win about 1 in 275 hands. So really you can expect the challenge to take less than 1k hands to complete

But for sake of argument, let's use 1k hands as a slight over-estimate. In 1k hands of 10nl zoom full ring I generate an average of $5.70 rake. The promotion has an EV of $2.60, which equates to a huge 46% increase in rakeback for me across the month the promotion is running which is like them giving me supernova elite rb % for a whole month!

If you're so concerned about having $240 in play then instead play 2 tables of 10nl zoom and then you'll only have $20 "on the line" but it really shouldn't be a big concern.

presently on another site if you deposit 100$ you get a 22$ tournament ticket. next day deposit 50$ and get 10$ bonus. promos like that for an whole week.

this is what i call good promos. not ****ty 2$ telling in a way that is equal to a fantasic 49% rakeback. i personaly dont play for 2$ promos.

Pretty surely, the EV of the lineup of promos mentioned by GE is significantly higher than $80 a month. That's the whole point.

Indeed, I calculated the EV of each day of the promotion when completed to be $2.57944 and the promotion runs across 33 days. 33*2.57944=$85.12 which is higher than $80! And that's not even including the other promos on offer, like the spin and go promo and there may be more coming!

Ofcourse good for the players registered in that freeroll, but bad in the sense players don't care about this freeroll, they are not excited, you want us to finish in top 50 out of 9k players and all we get is a $11 ticket? How is this a good promo? Your previous $1k daily freerolls had better prizepools and you wont find players sitting out as much as you find in these freerolls

Some years ago there was a Challenge for BotP with 10k for players who reach 600 points at low orbit or 2k points at high orbit.
The challenge was a very tough one but it was a possible one.

I'm enjoying the cash game quests, even if I have only earned $1 each time. It's encouraged me to play more, it's encouraged me to play a little higher than I normally would (okay, that's probably not a good thing), I've been running decent so I've actually won money for the games, I've been given free money for essentially doing absolutely nothing beyond playing my normal game, and the best part? I'm actually enjoying playing online poker for the first time in months.

Of course I would rather be given a larger cash prize. Given the option between more money and less, I don't think anyone would ever choose less. But between the options of less free money and none, I'm still going to choose less.

Some time ago i made a little thread of an idea i had.

It was pokerstars limiting the play money tables maximun to 1, charging for adverticing on those tables and creating a free $ bonuses sytem for the people playing there regardless of winning or lossing but just playing.

Recreational players and even people knowing nothing about poker would come to play there because they would be literally giving money away for free.

Well, I'm afraid this won't happen because there are many people who're willing to play on the Jackpot Poker app and even pay a bit of money for it.
