For the Usain Bolt promo, they made it sound like the weekend challenge with the 3x prizes would be something of a reward for playing all week long - don't remember seeing any mention that it would be Jacks or Better? Although admittedly my attention to detail is pretty weak

It feels like have been playing forever - am already up to 250 hands and am only 1/3 of the way to completing the challenge. May not bother finishing the rest, will have to see?

Am update - am up to 468 hands, and am less than 3/4 of the way finished ... and there's only 37 minutes left in the day.

May wind up running out of time to complete the challenge, because it took so much longer than was expecting ...

Ran out of time and didn't finish the challenge The worst part - was all distracted by this stupid thing, made a horribly fishy call with 2pr and wound up getting stacked ... fml

Guess it's still a good promo for 2nl overall though - if the rake for playing 726 hands is only ~$1, and the min-prize for completing the challenge is $1.50? Not sure which one of these is the rake paid in PokerTracker, but guess they're all sort of close?

So frustrated about running out of time - just didn't realize how much play would be required to complete this challenge, since the ones during the week were so short ... otherwise may have started much earlier in the day? Will be sure to set aside enough time for the one tomorrow ...

It seems like Stars maybe tried to design something where recreationals have to play past the boost period of the chest? Or maybe they're trying to get us to play enough to open a chest by the end of the day - in case those extra 8 starscoins from the chest will maybe encourage us to want to play more after the promo's over, or something?

Im pretty sure the challenge for me was only 10nl and up, which I can't play anyways so I didn't bother.

Hopefully these promos eventually adjust to levels where more people are able to participate - the more the merrier

As far as anti-Stars rants go that was very mild, also when ranting it's customary to use "Amaya". You'll get there.

There must have been a whole lot of shouting/crying/firings at Stars HQ when they realised the min prize had been set at a whole $1.50. Definitely took way longer than last time they ran Jacks or Better, seemed like it took a lot more than triple the time compared to the midweek challenges.

These prizes are just too good - am expecting them to get much smaller at any point, probably as soon as they figure out who to fire ... next, for making the prizes so large in the first place

Took 679 hands to complete the challenge today - doesn't sound like a lot, but my play's slower than a turtle ...


Hopefully the daily challenges don't start to become harder to match the weekend challenges?

I have a huge issue with the Pokerstars Twitch promotion. For those who didn't know, Pokerstars held a tournament on Thursday, August 17 (2.20 USD Buy in) with special bounties (Sunday million live day1 ticket worth 215 EUR) for eliminating "Spraggy" or "easywithaces". I was lucky enough to eliminate "easywithaces" (I am edvards92 on Stars).

I then contacted the support via e-mail and they confirmed that I have indeed eliminated "easywithaces" and the ticket would soon be in my account. E-mail also said to contact the support if the ticket are not granted in 48 hours. So I waited for 48 hours, nothing happened, no ticket. I contacted the support on Saturday evening by sending them two e-mails (one from Pokerstars software, one to the person who replied to me on Thursday) with a reminder. At that point I wasn't too worried and went to sleep.

When I woke up, there were no answers. Waited few hours, sent another reminder. More than 15 hours had passed and this time I wrote from my e-mail to Pokerstars official support e-mail. After an hour or two I got a response which said that Support cannot help me and my case have been escalated to the department responsible. They did apologize for the situation. Two hours before the Sunday million, I sent them another e-mail demanding a refund if the ticket hasn't been granted in time. Of course there is no answer whatsoever.

To me it feels like a won a small lottery and the company responsible are not paying me the money. What annoys me the most is lack of communication. I understand there can be tehnical issues, but I cannot accept beeing ignored. I do not post in this forum, but I check it out from time to time and maybe someone here from Pokerstars can finally help me regarding this matter.

Amaya's support is horrid. They take 43 hours to resolve a standard 1-step ID verification. And they have the gall to keep advertising that level of non-support as "24/7".
Used to be better in the past, they say.

Even 300 hands is still a lot, when the daily challenges all take less than 15 minutes to complete - today's challenge only took me 21 hands!

They make it sound like the weekend challenge is going to be some sort of special reward for playing so many times during the week, because it's got 3x the prize pool - wasn't expecting a 3x prize pool to require something like 30x the volume!

Just looking at how many people are playing those freerolls each day, even with the prize pool being so tiny, it would seem like it must be okay to withdraw without that affecting the tickets? Although guess email support may be the only ones that know the answer for sure this time - hopefully you'll have an answer in a couple of days, OhEllNo?

Too bad the prize pools for those freerolls aren't larger - maybe they'd be getting even more people to deposit?

Hasnt happened to me , althou i dont play the freerolls or claim the tickets .
have made multi withdrawals and the bonus is still there.

And you had to run 180 mtrs and i ran 80

Update : All has been resolved. I was even able to convert my ticket into tournament dollars so it all worked out in the end. Hopefully there can be a better communication next time.

Oh well - am pretty happy just to have been given amounts that make it nice to play poker again Since the promos haven't been great the past couple of months - and it sounds like quite a few people were given amounts that aren't really playable?

Didn't start off so great at the tables though - having a rough go of 2nl so far lol!

Glad it worked out for you. Btw, did any staff member contact you here for this issue? If not and if in future there's any problem/issue try posting in pokerstars disord server, many pokerstars staff members are active there and you'll most likely get a reply there.

Also, they are running a freeroll exclusive to discord members (not the first time tho). @TrustySam you might be interested in that freeroll . Search for discord in tournament lobby

Guess PS is offering the Discord freeroll for people who have made an effort to offer feedback? Was snooping around the MTT section the other day, and saw your idea for trying out different payout structures anuj - really hope you do well in the freeroll and win one of those nice tickets up for grabs, because that was a really creative idea

Guess the only idea would like to see more of is streams of high rollers, with commentary - it seems like there used to be more coverage of live tournament stops? And then there was Shark Tank Sometimes watching poker more would make me want to play more, even when there were no promos going on - even started trying to learn more about MTT's after watching live streams of EPTs, and started playing more of those after giving up cash games ... although that's been slow-going
