Regarding the freerolls for the Stars Rewards Tickets I think there should be at least 2 different ones. As it is (at least on the .pt client) there's only one weekly freeroll at 9 PM on a Saturday... really?

9 PM on a Saturday? I never get to play my tickets and I bet I'm speaking for a lot of other players too. Some people have a social life you know? Put it on Sundays at least or add another one on Sunday afternoons...

So here is the problem I have. The closer I get to the boost point, the further it moves. By the time I reach it, it boosts for like 50 points, which is barely noticeable.
Is it a bug? I've noticed it a long time ago, but only today decided to figure it out.
Stars support is quite incompetent or my English is too bad to explain to them what I mean. They give me a copy paste response about how chests work and how often the boost happens, but not about the boost overextension.

anyone tried "WELCOMEBACK" bonus on Stars? i recieved four offers and i am not sure if i can take advantage of all of them. i was offered to deposit 25, 40, 100 or 250 USD and next to all of them is random reward up to 5k. should i start with 25USD or it is only one time offer and should go for 250? info on probabilities on different amounts?

There is nothing wrong here. The top line is how many points you need to earn your next chest, it counts up from 0 to 1400. The second line is how many boost points you have remaining, it counts down from 215 to 0.

When you have a boost you earn 2 points towards your next chest for every $0.01 of rake paid.

In your example going from 215 boost down to 128 boost:

215 - 128 = 87 boost points means you have paid $0.87 in rake.

You have been credited 87 * 2 = 174 points towards your next chest.

716 + 174 = 890

From there after paying another $1.28 in rake your boost will be exhausted and you will have:

890 + (2 * 128) = 1146 points towards your next chest.

Or 1400 - 1146 = 254 points remaining towards your next chest.

Since you boost has been exhausted you will have to pay an additional $2.54 in rake to earn your next chest. Unless you stop playing for 8 hours until you next boost is unlocked then you will only require $1.27 in rake to unlock.

And you know it would be fine to have reduced rewards and underwhelming VERY Top Heavy promos... IF the games were now hugely better/looser. But no change to even the basic stats like avg % seeing flop in the 2nl Zoom pool is still under 15% ffs. Even at Z2nl 6max I am rarely getting to showdown because villains mostly fold OTF or else triple barrel for thick value. Because they can still 20 table. So Stars can make maximum rake off them.

Plenty of loose action in the higher variance "lottery type games" though. Guess gotta embrace the swongs...

It's they way they have worded it, it's stupid. The "Boost on" number is how many points you have to use while on boost.

when the boost number is highest would be when it starts and then you play and rake until you get the boost figure down to 0 which is when the 8 hour timer starts again until the next boost.

I go that 1/2 rake race thing which was stupid seeing as though I was playing PLO 50 so couldn't take part.

I have one which is to have a chance to win a tournament package but again have to play 0.5/1 so again not only do I not play this high but I also never play tournaments the prize doesn't even interest me.

Yes, 2nl seemed that way to me as well, when was playing during the Usain Bolt promo. Back in the day, guess 2nl would be more of like a starting point for everybody on their move up stakes - while now 2nl seems to be the final step down in stakes before people stop playing altogether? Or was that just me ... It did feel like there were any other recreationals in the pool who have been playing for years, making it not so easy?

Haven't played spins since the first Spinball promo in February - do remember the games feeling rather soft, with several people shoving any two in the first orbit, etc.
Funny that there didn't seem to be too many pros playing at the $1 level - wonder if maybe the games aren't beatable, with the 8% rake or whatever it is?

I just completed the Spinball promotion. Some UI feedback:

-I didn't get to see what I won for the final prize - although can deduce it from the "total winnings" number.

-In addition, the "total winnings" number doesn't have a currency signifier, which is unhelpful, since my default cashier currency is GBP and I assume that this is a USD prize.

-I have a huge 3260 x 1600 screen. But the spinball screen is too small to show the whole pinball table, requiring scrolling, for no obvious reason.

also, some other thoughts on spinball promo: its cool that it is back, but I suspect that some players might figure out that the avarage payout is now 10 times smaller than it used to be (considering that it was personalized and now I think its not, might be even bigger decrease for recreational players)

I wonder if they will do a December advent calendar??

The average payout is different for most players, and in many cases smaller. This is due to the fact that this time around we are running it alongside CardMatch and also the Trip to Lapland that ran for the last two weeks. We do experiment with different payouts and difficulty levels to see what works best.

However; if your payout is 10x smaller, then this is likely accompanied by a drop in required minimum stake (so your payout is between 0.5x and 2.0x the same in terms of required buyins). If this is not the case, DM me.

We are looking at addressing the top-heavy-ness in the new year. Players like big potential prizes like 5k/10k/20k but players also like to win top prizes more frequently. Expect to see a lower top prize in January for at least one of the main promotions.

I want to see something like that come back, because it rewarded players who played more frequently, rather than just being focused on a single daily challenge.

Players seemed to like the "train in the week for a boost at the weekend" concept so I think you can be sure this type of stuff will appear again at some point.

I don't have a screenshot - I don't recall seeing anything on the table. For some of them (eg, coming 3rd in a Spin + Go tournament) I don't understand why it could appear on the table, since I get eliminated from the tournament (and the table automatically closes) to complete the piece. I guess it's possible, though, if the settings are setup different for different people.

I've played with some of the PokerStars chips which appear to be the same as on the Amazon store, and in my experience, they were good and decent chips. They're likely to be reasonable value if you have a strong affection for the PokerStars brand.

Starting this Christmas calendar with the deal tokens (including $100k added) is a very smart move! I like this. Hopefully, the challenges like "win a hand with a straight flush, "win 2 180 sngs" or something similar which were there in 2015 and liked by many will make a return.
