Like I said earlier ITT
They don't want winning players (at least in cash games)
They are the reverse of old PokerStars pre BF
If I'm not mistaken, this is not all on them. I believe the license to just operate the site initially was $10mil and god knows what the taxes are. So it's entirely possible that the rake and rakeback sucking is simply not avoidable
Might also be the reason they're the only ones who've entered atm
We don't know what their finances are, they do. And it's also possible that they could be woefully incompetent in running a site in addition to the handling of all the complaints in here and elsewhere, and actually be making money hand over fist. This might be the reality and consumers are simply never going to get what they truly desire and/or believe they deserve
The only hope is competition to force change, or new law/regulation changes to do the same
Poker is def fun, I'm not gonna stop playing, but they really are taking an attitude that makes me not want to play there at all. I will have a keen interest on any new site that pops up

Also the chests themselves are stupid and I cant figure them out. I am at diamond right now and was at chest 5/10 and opened it on Thursday. Today I completed the next chest and it still registered at chest 5/10. I can't figure it out. Also like others mine doubled to 23,400.
It's a rolling 28 day window
If you cleared a chest 28 days ago, then tomorrow that chest will disappear from your progress bar thingy (so it would go from 7/10 to 6/10, or if u cleared 2 chests that day, then 7/10 goes to 5/10, etc)
It makes it so you have to clear 10 chests in any given 28 days to move up a tier
The way they set it up, though, makes me feel like I'm moving up in
