I received an email from someone claiming to be the Stars VIP Manager and they want to send me a t-shirt because I am a VIP. I don't care about the t-shirt but it could be nice if there was someone to actually take feedback and suggestions. Has anyone else received an email? Seems legit but not 100% sure, they are only asking for t-shirt size and to confirm address atm.

I scrolled around this thread and saw that someone else had this error message. It didn't seem like they never found a solution and ended up buying a new laptop. I just got a new HP laptop for Xmas and am running PT4 on it while I play. I have played for around 2 hours total and have had this message pop up three times. It basically just freezes pokerstars and I have to exit out of it and then open it back up. However, when I open it up, I am no longer seated at any of the tables.

Was just curious if anyone else had ever had this issue while playing on an HP and if they had any easy resolution. Thanks for the time.

had this happen for the first time Saturday, and every 10 min yesterday. did you come up with any solution? I tried to reinstall, no help. have an email in to support.

Does anyone from PokerStars PA monitor this Thread?

I just have a suggestion or two for you Change up tournaments:

How about a Limit HE change up or How about a Limit Omaha H/L change up?

Love all the other change up tournaments btw.

I have emailed support once or twice but I never have received a reply with maybe the exception of I'll send this up the chain.

*You could also send them a tweet if you wish. Overall, you've done your part by contacting them.

Any new information on this?
"unscheduled" maintenance on a weekend in three states doesn't sound reassuring and I am running out of benign "explanations".
The lack of information/transparency doesn't do anything to make me less alarmed.

I'm borderline worried about my data/bankroll/personal information.

And btw. "Hi".
I used to play on Stars before Black Friday, didn't play any online poker for years after that, and signed up again when the pandemic produced the early lock downs.

Although that makes zero sense IMO.
If they are doing an update or anything "benign" than they should be able to run the site on the former version while they are "fixing" whatever they are fixing.

The desktop client just downloaded and installed an update when I opened it but the site is still under maintenance. I also made a withdrawal which was normal, near instant through paypal.

Same. Just did the software update but still under maintenance. Withdrew Thursday before all this and it went through to my bank account this morning.
