I have essentially moved my play to other sites due to my frustration regarding the lack of Omaha tourneys offered. I have contacted Stars using several different methods to voice my frustration. The Michigan liaison is no longer with Stars and all the other methods appeared to fall on deaf ears.

There are nights that there are 40 Omaha cash tables playing and though many of those players are playing multiple tables there does seem to be enough players to warrant adding some additional tourneys to the schedule.

This is an example of what a typical Sunday tourney schedule looks like on the Pstars MI/NJ network. 40 total tourneys and 5 are Omaha, 4 $5 and 1 $20 entry. NL guarantees are 10k, 4k, 65k, 7.5k, 32.5k, 8k, 8k, 4k, 4k, and a bunch of 3ks and 2ks. Omaha guarantees are $200, $400, $1500, $500, & a $300. Omaha total guarantee is $2900 for 5 tourneys. There are 13 NL tourneys that offer more guarantees than all of the Omaha tourneys combined.

Since the merger not one Omaha tourney has been added or prize pool/entry fee been adjusted except the $20 PLO Nightly added to their guarantee. That tourney has such a horrible structure it's not really worth playing.

I have to wait usually 45-60 days for a series to start before i get a chance to play 2-3 Omaha tourneys that will have a decent guarantee. I have never seen an Omaha Tourney during a series not exceed the guarantee.

I have sent Stars a complete daily, weekly and monthly Omaha schedule that i think would work...no response

I sent Stars a complete 20 bullet point plan on how to increase the Omaha schedule and what Stars could do to promote it. I also requested that Stars add different Omaha variations to the cash tables...no response.

I was invited to this Team Stars group by Stars themselves to give them input but not surprisingly no response from that group either.

Finally, i asked Stars several times what the process was regarding adding new tourneys to the schedule. Since there was no response to my input, I wanted to know if me advocating for new tourneys was essentially a waste of time because player input is just not considered when making adjustments to the schedule...no response.

I get it Stars is a massive international company so i should temper my expectations, however I am going to say that I am easily in the top 3 of earners in the entire state of Michigan when it comes to Omaha tournament results and have been playing online poker profitably since 2004. i assumed, naively, that someone at Stars would consider hearing what i had to say regarding Omaha tourneys.

All that being said, 3 things:
Who actually is in charge of the MTT schedule?
What is the process to add/change tourneys?
Why has nothing changed?

I think you answered your own question.

Look, you've done what sounds like all you can really do.

It's a shame that you haven't been able to get any traction because Michigan is a big PLO state, at least in the live realm. If Stars was able to pull some of those players online with appealing offerings, it could be good for the whole ecosystem.

How does the MI players think about the new NJ pool? Seems like the play style is very different between the two groups

The games are much tougher now compared to before merging with NJ. Mostly just because the reg/rec ratio has gone up. NJ regs seem more aggressive (not necessarily better) on average.

It's definitely been a net negative for MI players so far... and probably all recs too, since the tables are jammed up with more regs.

As a NJ player, it definitely feels like MI pool use very different betting patterns, took a while to get used to and know what to do

Meh. Just another group of regs to adjust to.

Been pretty underwhelmed by player count post merger tbqh.

I think it's safe to say, it won't be in 2023. Considering everything, my guess is late 2024-early 2025.

Nope - Dark Theme is working here for me. I did have a funky issue with cards not displaying their suits (the cards were still colored correctly....just didn't have a club / diamond / heart / spade logo on them anymore)...but that resolved itself after running the updater in the PSMI folder.

Just a quick question to completely understand the chest thing here: Once I get to the top tier how many chests do I need to complete a month to keep that status?

Generally via email, twitter posts...etc etc. There aren't "reload" bonuses very often. I think maybe 2-3x over the last couple of years.
