I think you misunderstand me. I mentioned a page or 2 back that I doubt anyone is RTA'ing with GTO Wiz. I watched that podcast section yesterday and was reading the WSOP NV/NJ thread...and now take back my previous thoughts and do agree that urnighmare is / was most likely using GTO Wiz while playing.

For starscoins, is there any merit to redeeming for Casino $, given you get about 12% more dollars?

If you use it to buy the bonus on specific slot machines, possibly. Buying the bonus using all of the casino bonus will wipe the playthrough requirement. I’m too lazy for that though.

Stars down? I get a popup saying we will be down December 12 and 13th for scheduled maintenance. This marks an important milestone as we work to improve our offering by bringing Michigan and New Jersey players together in the coming weeks. My only option is to close the popup and then it closes the program. Check @pokerstarsUSA for updates.

They already did that in January and the pokerstars twitter page tells me nothing.

That downtime message has been happening all year. Not been updated yet.

Anyone else been experiencing crazy lag in the past 2-3 days around 3-8 pm? I play using a cellular connection - but it's lagging on both my Visible (Verizon) and Mint (T-Mobile) connections ... have ruled out my WiFi connection too, since I'm tethering via USB right now. Other stuff is loading up fine as well, while Stars is lagging/frozen.

If anyone is wondering about transferring star coins to casino instant bonuses to save that extra 10% don't bother. I did the math on some of the casino games and was able to calculate a slight +EV scenario, but the PokerStars casino did not recognize my playing for redemption points. I contacted customer support about how I had bet the correct amount to clear the bonus, but they gave a canned response and was unhelpful. I read the rules carefully, so I don't think I missed anything. Unfortunately, PokerStars support doesn't really care to help.

Fortunately I experimented with only a $5 instant bonus instead of a significant amount. But now I have $5 in instant bonus that is just going to expire in a month.

I had to make an account here at PSMI, after MI players were booted from being able to play at global poker. I figured it was the highest traffic out of the 3 available for MI players, but damn micro & low stakes SNG/MTTs have abysmal traffic compared to what I was used to. Which is the best site for MI players (I prefer to play on my PC, rather than a mobile device).

All sites have their pros/cons. If you're looking for the site with the most available players, it's Pokerstars due to their NJ/MI merge. If you're looking for value, you should be playing on all 3 sites.

Stars is down for everyone, right? It's been down since at least 9am for me.
