All good! You want your game and pokerstars finally arrives and they didn't have it! If they did not feature my favorite games I'd be pissed too! But they got it now so no reason not to go to the party Craig! Not to mention all the crying and complaining I did in this thread about the sound glitch. I'm not the most peachy poster myself.

See you there hopefully.

To anyone in south jersey considering but do not want to stay overnight. Don't be crazy and risk a dui/worse. you should just do what i'm doing: Uber-->Atco(or whatever town near you) NJtransit--> 6:27 train-->arrives in AC 7:15-->landshark 7:30--> catch 153am train back. 5 bucks each way.

If I'm gonna be staying near Metlife stadium in Seacacus does anyone know if I'll have trouble with the geolocation?

I connect with no problems from Moonachie on a regular basis. -its 1 mile north of the stadium

Every time I click the "x" to leave a table, I get a popup: "Do you really want to leave?". How do I make this popup stop?

Thank you.

Anyone have an idea what time the $500 8game Will end in Tuesday if it starts at 6pm and gets 40 people?
05-15-2016 , 12:51 AM
just a heads up but it looks like the 100k freeroll has changed its payouts. instead of top 1100 ish paying its now 720 people.

So, by mistake I stumbled on a support gap.

I tried to log into the PokerStars client, and somehow didn't enter the right details. The security questions didn't seem to work either.

The problem is that the only way to do certain things is from the client. And when you can't log into the client, there is no support phone number to call. When you email support off-hours, they basically instruct you you may not hear back from them till 10AM.

The other sites all offer phone support. Why not PokerStars?

It is absolutely terrible scheduling. I would play several tournaments that last weekend, including the main (and I actually only play a handful of tourneys a year; mostly play cash), but not THAT weekend; I have plans that weekend.

Good times.

Thanks to everyone who came yesterday, it was great to meet a lot of you in person and the turnout was really encouraging. I hope we can do something like this again in the future.

Good luck to all playing the $100K Freeroll today and happy SCOOP'ing!

Regards,
Dylan

sorry if already mentioned, but what is the policy on multiple scoop tickets won through satellites?

Unreal! It was great to meet you! And thanks for the +2, that was really cool of you! My friend and his wife had been to Landshark before but usually it is wall to wall crowded and you can't even get a drink. We had so much fun and they had never seen Landshark like this before. It was even fun to hang out front and watch all the people who regularly go to Landshark on saturday get turned down. Sorry dorks. I swear if you ran up all the alcohol and food we consumed it might be a 500 dollar tab!

Also, it was tough to talk to Dylan at times. If you didn't notice, he was the svelte young guy with like 2-3 hot girls orbiting him most of the party. Did you hypnotize those girls Dylan??!! WTF!! Teach me that !!!! Haha!

Also, Craig/murdahc, I was the 190 lb guy in blue tee shirt and jeans at the boxing machine. I'm not bragging but I can bench press a lot and people were putting bets on the over/under on whether or not I could punch at 700 on that meter. Then I dropped my beer and the betting kinda faded out. One guy looked at me with such disappointment! I never foul like that but damn you guys have to realize I've been at an open bar for like 5 hours and have not drank this much in a long time. I felt terrible and wanted to clean it up. Thankfully that was my only foul.

The girls on the stilts were one of my favorite parts. Also, the bar tenders couldn't have been friendlier, and often times you come up to the bar and they are already pouring your next drink or have one out already pre-poured for you. I also like how there were 3-4 people there who were legitimately there to play poker on their iphone or laptop. The waitress would randomly come by and bring them beers. Classic!

Also, there were free hats, water bottles, and other trinkets on this one table. I was hanging out with a PLO guy named Nathan and his wife Vanessa and he was like "are these free?" I'm like, "yeah, they gotta be." Then he took like 6 hats. I'm thinking ,"wtf do you need 6 hats for lol." I guess he just likes hats. Also, congrats to his wife for winning an 08 freeroll for 18 bucks! That's huge!

All in all a great party and a great time! I think I weigh 195 now. I have not been treated this well and made to feel like a vip by a poker site in a very long time and it was quite refreshing despite the rainy night. Thanks Dylan and Stars for a great party!

I was with the only female betting the over/unders at the boxing machine. Think she finished up like $120-$150. BTW I took 5 or 6 hats myself LOL. Was Nathan the one with the glasses/dressed real nice? Pretty cool dude, talked to him while the betting was going down. Great time tho, big ups to Dylan and the Pokerstars crew.

1479 registered so far. With the structure in place, and all the re-entries, I would be surprised if the money bubble was hit before the 1 hour late reg period expires.

They also fixed the huge money jump from $185 to ~$700 at 36th place in the last freeroll, but it still rises rapidly starting at 63rd place:

Place Payment
64 $140
63 $280
54 $405
45 $730
36 $915
27 $1120
18 $1265
...
9 $1700
...
1 $5000

Very different tournament this time around, after the first hour not even close to the bubble. In the first tournament you could have pretty much auto folded into the money.

It was nice to meet Dylan yesterday, had a great time at the party and the rest of the day.

Dylan I should have asked you in person yesterday, but do you know when/where I can find any of the coverage from the tournament?

This recap has me laughing at I wait to fly back to the Isle of Man. Glad you had fun - I know that myself and the rest of the PokerStars staff who attended were thrilled with the player interactions. You never know how these types of things will go (and if anyone will show up!); so thanks to all those who came, especially those who made a significant journey to attend.

No comment on paragraph #2, but I have absolute faith that murdahc is out on the streets using those hats to recruit more players to Omaha H/L 6-max Sit & Gos. Keep fighting the good fight .

Brad Willis from the PokerStarsBlog was on hand and is going to be writing some pieces on the day that should be published this week. There will be photos and a video documenting it as well so when these are available I'll make sure links are posted here.

Nice to meet you too and well played in the first 'onlive' event!

Regards,
Dylan

I see like a 15 second thing of JCarver saying to come by or whatever. Was hoping to find the coverage of the final table. I was thinking about it on my drive home and I think I might have eliminated every player at the final table lol

Are those the correct payouts showing for nj scoop event
1? I know it's a super knockout, but 1st place won 1k plus bounty in the 30k? I think im missing something about how those work

Yes they are correct. The guarantee includes bounties, and since 90% of the buy in or whatever went to bounties the payouts were pretty insignificant.

Dylan,

Hope you had a good trip back.

If you guys do another freeroll like that, how about an add on after the first hour for any unused tickets?

I think it would change the way it's played. You wouldn't see all of the light shoves in the first hour. Just a thought
