So if you shut down your .COM name for .NJ, you can never sign back up with .COM in the future?? What is the conversion rate for FTP's, 2.5 or 1.6? So if you have 1.6 million, you are going to get 1 milion??

thanks dylan i get all that but where can i create and download the software? do i need to go to pokerstarsnj.com tomorrow at 16:00 or is there a way to download and sign up tonight so i am ready to go? I am sure there wont be 500 players just trying to figure out how to access the site since right now on pokerstarsnj it still says the 21st for everything.

also stud tournies. party runs one 5$ one w no guarantee at like 5:30 which was getting 20-3- + players consistently. there is interest in other varieties just the morons who run the sites dont give em a chance and dont seem to know how to promote things

What if someone who creates a NJ pokerstars account creates a screenname that is an account currently on the .com site then? Whether that player is .com player or say someone that relocated from the usa?


So if someone created an account with the quick method you mentioned and let say they wanted their screenname to be let say shaundeeb. shaundeeb is a high stakes poker player who relocated from the usa to outside the usa i believe from what i read.


So wouldn't that cause issues for the .com shaundeeb account who would have no relationship to the new user who wants to be called shaundeeb? I guess its similar to like how people create screennames similar to other pros like isidur1 and create an account with something like isiduur1 etc. How would you confirm that the person creating the account who wants that screenname is actually that person who had that account before BF? Seems like there could be lot of issues here right? Unless of course they have to send verifiction documents immediately before one could deposit? Then i assume no issue. Because from reading what you posted about the creating acct screenname, it could cause lot of security issues unless there is something I didn't look at here?

Just wanted to give Dylan a shoutout on being prompt on answering questions and giving as much info as possible. I think most in NJ would agree that one of those most incredibly frustrating things about the existing sites in the state now is the lack of communication from customer support. Continued assistance like this will definitely lead to you guys taking over the market sooner (since you'll obviously be #1 eventually) than you might have otherwise. It is appreciated!!

I lost my rsa token so i contacted support as recommended. They informed me I didn't need my RSA token to go about the quick account creation process, but from what I can tell they were wrong. Anyone else contact support yet about this?

I'd like to manage expectations, so it's worth noting that at launch over 90% of our tournament offering will be NLHE. We will test the market and add other variants if we see that they are successful. We do have an Omaha H/L tournament with a guarantee scheduled to start next week at 5:30pm.

You can't create a UserID that exists on another PokerStars license. For example, if Randy 'nanonoko' Lew is visiting NJ and creates a PokerStars NJ account, he can be 'nanonokoNJ', but he won't be playing under 'nanonoko'.

I downloaded the software this morning from the .com address to set up my account.

There was no 'quick account creation' option.

My old address is from out of state. Is that why I'm not getting the New Jersey account option?

I wasn't able to update my address after logging in.

Because it's pokerstarsnj.com not pokerstars.com

You will only be able to go through Quick Account Creation process via the PokerStars NJ software, which is not yet available.

When it is available, you will be able to download it from the PokerStarsNJ.com homepage. Barring any delays, that will be from approx. 4pm ET this afternoon.

No, there's no punishment for signing up during the testing period, the same deposit offers and freeroll eligibility applies.
