Doing his job? please specify what his job entails? Could it be being a mediator between stars upper management and their customers?

If so by ignoring the customers questions/concerns and not bringing it to the attention of upper management then NO he is not doing his job.

Dylan you answered every question but mine for like the 5th time. Is neteller an option to deposit still I don't see it on the Mac client

What do you mean by support function? As in contact support through client?

If I remember correctly you are supernova already so most likely transferred over old row account? Might have something to do with it because you have a deposit history.

It's is an option I use Windows tho. If you don't see it on Mac see if you can login on Windows and deposit that way.

I guess what we should be really asking is how do the rake increases compare with the rest of the NJ market. Also it was my understanding Stars already had lowest rake in Row market of the major sites does this still hold true. I understand they are a business. Final concern would be if targeted games are still beatable.

Neteller is a deposit option. I have inquired about why you wouldn't be seeing it on Mac vs Windows.

Pretty much regretting not using the other bonus code you guys had that gave away spin & go tickets and tourney bucks.
Video poker is not yet available on PokerStars NJ, but we do expect it to be launched in the near future. You shouldn't have received an email mentioning video poker - if you did could you PM me a copy of it so that I can look into it?

Regardless of whether the rake is higher or lower than other sites, it's pretty messed up to post rake levels on the website pre-launch, then immediately change them without an announcement on the day after launch. I mean I wouldn't have checked again for quite awhile if Leggo hadn't mentioned it.

I understand there are some problems when you launch a new site, but it's hard to see how the company could "make mistakes" on the rake and first deposit bonus. These two things are obviously very important to both players and the company and aren't technical issues likely to affected by software bugs.

Tho I understand your frustration the rake increases had nothing to do with launch day etc it was a universal increase for all PSTARS markets. I can't falter a marketing director or PR team for a decision that came down from the top.

Can we get games over 1/2 for limit? That seems way too low. At least go to 5/10 at minimum.

Also why is there no full ring sngs or regular cash game right now?

The launch day was the same day as the rake increase. Really hard to make sense of why they wouldn't just initially post the rake that would be in effect when the site launched.

I highly doubt they didn't know the rake would go up yesterday when they posted the lower rake levels on the website a couple weeks ago.

what no one has yet considered is that Stars is now paying a cut to Resorts as its NJ casino sponsor...so there may be something going on there that inspired the decision to raise the rake...we'll see what happens once the poker room gets going and how much revenue it generates...btw, I was at Resorts this past weekend...I was told by someone whom I trust as reliable that the room is currently being staffed and is expected to be open before the Memorial Day weekend...they're hoping early May which is when Taj is expected to reopen its room (also from a very reliable source)...

At the pokerstars meeting, Lee mentioned that there are no short term plans for Pokerstars to operate a live poker room in NJ. Could this room just be Resorts run and have no affiliation of Pokerstars?

For the life of me, I cannot find the option to join a waiting list for ring game tables on the iOS app--can anyone help?

I initially looked at this page during the first 2-3 days of the soft launch and at least for NL (I'm 95% confident) the rake has not changed since then. Why do you think it has been increased? Can anyone from star confirm or deny whether rake has been increased? I don't think it has.

Would like to echo the need for higher stakes PLO, and all limit games. Also, please fill in the missing stakes in the lower limits of PLO. Missing .02/.05, .1/.25 (or .15/.3 these days?). These games help feed the bigger games and are definitely needed. A jump from .05/.10 to .25/.50 with no games inbetween is definitely not going to help you build a PLO player base. Just sayin....

I was also told by a floor at Harrah's in October that the room is already built. It will be a PS branded room run by Resorts. I'm sure PS will have influence over it, though.

I can't view the rake link you provided because it's diverted for me in the UK to the UK rates. But I was also puzzled by the reports here on 2+2 that NJ rake has changed because the Eric Hollreiser PokerStars blog announcement on March 21, 2016 reads as follows:
Quote:
Following a review of the current business environment and the pricing policies employed across the competitive landscape for online gaming, PokerStars will change its pricing for a select number of games in its shared liquidity market, effective March 28, 2016...
NJ isn't a "shared liquidity market"

My source for the above Hollreiser quote: https://www.pokerstars.com/en/blog/c...g-161006.shtml

I'm not sure it was supposed to affect NJ.

"PokerStars said the changes will only be in its “global, shared liquidity markets,” which means it won’t be applying to the rake in the ring-fenced market of New Jersey, for example, which the site launched in on Monday after last week’s testing phase. The PokerStars NJ platform has its own rake structure."

I see pokerstars already got rid of the only Omaha hi/lo tourney they offer, $500 GTD that had ZERO overlay last night. What is the reason for this Dylan?

I looked at the rake page on March 17, 2016 around 12:30 pm Eastern Standard Time. I looked at the rake page again on March 21, 2016. The rake was different on March 21, 2016, than it was around that time on March 17, 2016. Specifically the rake percentage for stakes above $0.01/$0.02 was changed from 4.5% to 5% and the rake cap at $0.50/$1.00 through $3/$6 with 5+ players was changed from $2.80 to $3.00. There may have been other changes as well; I did not take a screen shot on March 17, 2016, that I can look at to see all of the changes for certain; if there were additional changes I am guessing $1/$2+ HU rake caps were some of them, but I can't remember for sure.

That is why I think the rake was increased.

I made a mistake in a post I made earlier. $5 Omaha hi/lo tourney last night had 103 entrants and was a $500 GTD. Guess there was a little overlay, but I don't give a damn, make it $250 GTD. I see the lobby loaded with Omaha tourneys, but I know for a fact that Omaha hi/lo tourneys are much more popular on some of your competing sites.

And just to be clear, I will bring up this topic in this thread every single day.

IMO Between 7pm & 9pm est seems to be the most popular time of the day to play poker online, during weekdays. So it seems illogical to run only 1 Omaha Hi/Lo tourney and NOT have it run during the most popular time of the day. You are just setting it up for failure!

1 more thing, you guys claim to be the leaders in online poker. How the heck does a smaller competitor in NJ offer omaha hi/lo sit n gos and all you guys offer are some lame omaha heads up games in the lobby!!!
