Downloaded and ran appcleaner, put the pokerstars app in it, it found everything associated with it and I put it all in trash and emptied it. Then ran everything again and it worked perfectly

Am I the only one that finds it to be a problem that PokerStars requires me to submit a copy of my SS Card or a form with my full SSN through a method, email, that is not encrypted or secured?

I find it odd that they are stating it is a DGE requirement when no other sites that is regulated in New Jersey that required me to provide that information. If I did not pass verification through their online registration, I was requested to submit a photocopy of my ID, not an issue, and a photocopy of a utility bill within the last couple of months.

I guess I might be anal in the fact that sending my SSN over email is not something I wish to do.

PokerStars, please get your verification process up to snuff so that I can deposit...

If you're uncomfortable emailing sensitive information, you can securely send your documents via secure upload in the client. Log in and go to:

Help > Contact Support (via the Main menu in the lobby)
Select category: ‘Security’ > 'Verification Document Request’
Locate and select the correct files on your computer
Click on 'Upload Now'

Hi Dylan,

on 3/11/16 I emailed support to have my RSA token disabled to avoid problems when trying to log in. They responded and asked for some verification info. the next day (3/12/16) I sent them all the info they needed. Still have not heard back from them. I emailed them again on 3/16 and still have not heard a response. When trying to log into the pokerstarsNJ client yesterday, I had to do a forgot your password because I did not remember it from 2011. They sent a temporary password and I tried logging in with it, after i click log in, the log in screen simply disappears and nothing happens, or it tells me the userID and password do not match. I tried 100 times. I emailed support yesterday and haven't received a response. So this morning I decided to try the pokerstars.com client. I was able to log in with the temporary password but it asked me for my RSA passcode. Why has this not been disabled yet. I was wondering if you could look into and fast track this issue for me. I will PM you my username and email.

Regarding Spin&Go rake, for each tier, multiply the prize pool by the probability. Sum these amounts to get the average (expected) prize pool (2.794 buyins).

So the average (expected) rake per game is 3 buyins - 2.794 buyins = 0.206 buyins.

As a percentage, that is 0.206 buyins / 3 buyins x 100 = 6.867%.

Rounding up gives 7%. The reason I asked for confirmation is that all the other domains seem to work out to the exact figure.

+1 This worked for me too. Thanks for the tip, man. Dylan, this worked for both my computers. I dunno if Stars can advocate a third party software. But if so, this one worked.

New laptop, none of the NJ sites (including Stars) can verify that I'm in NJ. I've had no problems in past with old laptop. Wifi is on.

Can anyone help with some quick troubleshooting tips?

What windows are you running? If you have access to a Ethernet cable, I'd give it a try.

That's all I needed to submit so there most be other problems or red flags.

Question on the "FREE50"" promo. I see where it says I have 2 tickets to tournaments, I however do not see the remaining "free" money in my account. Can someone let me know if there is any "free" money or do you have to earn it through play. Also do you have to download PokerstarsNJ. on a PC in order to view what tournaments you can play for the 2 free tickets?

Trying to create my NJ acct. Every attempt fails and i am informed to contact support, which I have done. And no response.

It gives me no error message with a code. It just stops the "transfer" and says there was a problem and I need to email support.

Is this whats to expect in playing here again? I get there will be bugs in the beginning. But a simple response acknowledging would be nice.

Hi boatsboats,

Could you try to log-in and create your NJ account by launching from the COM client? If it still fails, please immediately send your log files to Support. I've posted instructions on how to send log files in this thread earlier today.

Hi again Dylan, just had a few questions -

1. Limits - Will the limits on the .com be available eventually on the NJ Site? I noticed a lot of the mixed/limit games don't go very high, PLO is missing a few limits, etc.

2. Hyper Turbo Qualifiers - I used to grind the 6-max SNG's that would award $11 seats, which you could unreg and get T$ for. Will those be offered?

3. T$ - Will you be able to buy/sell T$ on the NJ site?

4. You can only claim the "FREE50" promo or the $600 100% Promo, not both, correct?

Thanks for the help in advance. Words can not express how happy soon being able to play for real money on Stars again for the first time in nearly 5 years will make me! WE MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!
