windows 10 machine.

my taskbar is set to auto-hide. when action is on me at a table, stars flashes the table in the taskbar (making hte taskbar show itself). usually after you act the taskbar will stop flashing and will auto-hide again. however, this is not happening. sometimes the stars table will stillb e flashing even after i've acted, and sometimes nothing will be flashing but the taskbar wont' auto-hide.

confirmed that it's the stars client, as i don't have the issue when i close stars.

also, not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but the 'remember my buyin' feature is not working, and it's not saving your preferences here after you select them

I asked the same question yesterday. For some reason they are avoiding the question.

I tried to convert my old PS account using the quick creation option and it gave me an error. A box popped up that said "Warning" Please email support@pokerstarsnj.com for assistance.

So I did and am waiting. But it also shows me logged on with my name and old icon and everything so I'm a bit confused.

If I click Cashier and try to deposit the Account Creation prompt pops up again.

I still haven't received an email response from support...
+1

It won't successfully convert my ROW account. Scenario below:

-Download PS NJ software
-Successfully log in using ROW account
-Prompted to download PS ROW software and login
-Successfully log in PS ROW software
-Tick boxes that I am 21 and agree to T+Cs
-Quick Account Creation begins to load, then I receive error "Warning: There was a problem in the process".
-Retry the process by selecting "Move to PokerStars NJ" from profile page. Receive same error.

I am having same error. Support hasn't been able to help yet. They've asked if I'm in NJ which I am. I don't want to lose any of the potential access to Full Tilt points I had if that option becomes available.

Anyone solved this yet?

2 very noticeable things about pokerstars since 2011

1. customer service has gone down hill in response time. But I will give them a pass since they are very busy now

2. obv the software is horrible. Sometimes too much is just well too much. The entire client is like a maze

I'm getting the same error message.

So, living in Maryland, I'd like to get up to jersey to grind for a week or weekend at a time.
My question to my folks who live there, what are hotel wifi networks like? Reliable enough to play?
Will PS block me from playing if others are playing from the same hotel?

Hotel wifi networks are ok.. Pokerstars will not kick you off while playing, there are better ways to access the network though. Do you know anyone in NJ?

The best advice I would give is stay with a friend or family and use their wifi or rent out a room in someones house.

It's a soft launch guys. This is the reason for the soft launch, to work out as many issues as possible. Keep providing useful feedback but be patient/don't get frustrated when things aren't in perfect working order yet.

So starting at 8am today, 4 hours from now, stars goes up permanently in NJ! Very exciting!

Since as I haven't had a chance to look at the details of the MTT offerings other than the Sunday events, does anyone know if PS is making the daily major MTTs unlimited rebuys ( like WSOP first hour), capped, or no rebuy at all?

I can always look tonight but maybe someone can give me a rundown.

Very impressed with the soft launch so far. Tournament schedule looks great, Spins are already running with regularity, and the server response and payment processing times just blow away the competition. Pretty sad considering PS NJ is only in a beta.

Glad to see a NJ site taking a chance on alt formats such as 8-game.

Here's the one thing I'd like to see: Given that the $10 Spins are already popular, I don't see why there aren't higher buy-in options. Even a $20 and a $50 option would work wonders. They're good for PokerStars too, as a $50,000 jackpot is more impressive than a $10,000 one from a PR standpoint.

I wouldn't change the cap though, as a small market such as NJ could go years without a 12,000x hitting.

Any possibility of higher buy-ins the future?

Appreciate the advice, for sure. I know no one, so wanted to just get there and do my own thing and let the chips fall where they may.

Thanks again tho!

Just tried the Android client. Is there any way to make the lobby appear in landscape mode?
03-18-2016 , 08:47 AM
Hey Dylan the sound issue is still happening just started for me about 45 mins into session one tabling.
03-18-2016 , 09:10 AM
Are there any deposit codes for 1st deposit? I didn't see any in the emails I got
03-18-2016 , 09:15 AM
For those still having problems creating accounts or downloading the software, if you haven't already, the best way to help us resolve your issue is to send detailed information, including screenshots of any error messages, and if possible, your PokerStars Log Files to support@pokerstarsnj.com. This will give the Tech Support team the info they need to look into the problem and should limit any potentially frustrating back and forths with our Support department. If you can't access the client then screenshots will have to do, but here's how you can send log files if you're able to:

Load the PokerStars program and select the "Help" button in the right bottom corner of the main lobby. From the help menu select 'log files' on the left side. Then, please be sure to include your User ID and any details related to the reason you are sending the log files. Once you have added your detailed explanation, simply click on the green "SEND LOG FILES" button, which will automatically send the log files and your explanation to us.

Alternatively, you can select to save the log files as ZIP file by clicking on "ZIP & SAVE" button and your log files will then automatically be saved as a .zip file on your hard drive. To do this, simply follow these instructions:

1. Open the Main Lobby
2. Go to Help
3. Go to Log Files
4. Select "ZIP & SAVE"
5. Save the file to your Desktop, you may have to navigate to the Desktop as the default location is the PokerStars Settings Folder
6. Compose an email to support@pokerstarsnj.com
7. Click on Attach File (or similar option)
8. Select the ZIP file located in your Desktop or wherever you chose to save the file
9. Click OK and send the email

Please note it is important that you send us these files as soon as you can as they are only kept on your hard drive for a period of one day.

Could you share how you calculated this? I checked and am told the payout structure on the webpage is correct.

This payment option is being worked on, though I don't have a time-frame for implementation.

Higher stakes are certainly possible in the future. Traffic will be monitored at the $10 level and requests for higher stakes will be evaluated and we'll take it from there.

Regarding the bug with sounds, unfortunately this won't be fixed until the next client release which is still a few weeks away. In the meantime, if you're experiencing this problem, you can mute sounds by going in the right-hand bar to Settings -> Global -> Sounds and unticking 'Enable Sound Effects'.

Regards,
Dylan
