For those still having problems creating accounts or downloading the software, if you haven't already, the best way to help us resolve your issue is to send detailed information, including screenshots of any error messages, and if possible, your PokerStars Log Files to
support@pokerstarsnj.com. This will give the Tech Support team the info they need to look into the problem and should limit any potentially frustrating back and forths with our Support department. If you can't access the client then screenshots will have to do, but here's how you can send log files if you're able to:
Load the PokerStars program and select the "Help" button in the right bottom corner of the main lobby. From the help menu select 'log files' on the left side. Then, please be sure to include your User ID and any details related to the reason you are sending the log files. Once you have added your detailed explanation, simply click on the green "SEND LOG FILES" button, which will automatically send the log files and your explanation to us.
Alternatively, you can select to save the log files as ZIP file by clicking on "ZIP & SAVE" button and your log files will then automatically be saved as a .zip file on your hard drive. To do this, simply follow these instructions:
1. Open the Main Lobby
2. Go to Help
3. Go to Log Files
4. Select "ZIP & SAVE"
5. Save the file to your Desktop, you may have to navigate to the Desktop as the default location is the PokerStars Settings Folder
6. Compose an email to
support@pokerstarsnj.com
7. Click on Attach File (or similar option)
8. Select the ZIP file located in your Desktop or wherever you chose to save the file
9. Click OK and send the email
Please note it is important that you send us these files as soon as you can as they are only kept on your hard drive for a period of one day.

Could you share how you calculated this? I checked and am told the payout structure on the webpage is correct.

confirmed that it's the stars client, as i don't have the issue when i close stars.

Have passed both these issues on, thanks for reporting.

Mac working great for me since yesterday
Thanks!
This payment option is being worked on, though I don't have a time-frame for implementation.

Glad to see a NJ site taking a chance on alt formats such as 8-game.
Here's the one thing I'd like to see: Given that the $10 Spins are already popular, I don't see why there aren't higher buy-in options. Even a $20 and a $50 option would work wonders. They're good for PokerStars too, as a $50,000 jackpot is more impressive than a $10,000 one from a PR standpoint.
I wouldn't change the cap though, as a small market such as NJ could go years without a 12,000x hitting.
Any possibility of higher buy-ins the future?
Higher stakes are certainly possible in the future. Traffic will be monitored at the $10 level and requests for higher stakes will be evaluated and we'll take it from there.

Regarding the bug with sounds, unfortunately this won't be fixed until the next client release which is still a few weeks away. In the meantime, if you're experiencing this problem, you can mute sounds by going in the right-hand bar to Settings -> Global -> Sounds and unticking 'Enable Sound Effects'.
