Happened to me also. When I login to PS NJ with my old ROW acct, sends me to a screen:

Do you live in NJ, NY, PA or Delaware. Click "Continue to PokerStars.com" and follow the instructions to move your account.

It then downloads the PS ROW client. Then sends you to a screen asking you to create the account on PS NJ. Then it re-downloads the PS NJ client. And everything looks like it worked. And I think this is intended.

It was just very confusing that it downloaded the PS ROW client. Thought things were totally messed up, but did it again, followed the instructions, and all was good.
INSIDE INFO! Stars is coming to NY/PA and then merging player pools with NJ/DE!!!! :O :O :O

Def won't happen today, currently sitting at 103 and this is peak hours

and man these audio issues are really annoying. Especially since it messes up your whole PC's audio not just stars, how was this not found during testing lol.

If the old acct has a minus balance (in my case it was $500), will that minus still be there or should I create a new account?

i've tried repeatedly and get the same result
when i click on the app i get an "Install Update" message, i click update, then it asks for my admin password, i enter it, then it asks for my admin password again, i enter it again, then i get this

"Update Failed
Your PokerStars client could not be updated.
Error code -4/0"

with 3 buttons
"Visit FAQ Page", "Copy Logs", and "Exit Application"

i'm on a Mac running OSX El Captain v10.11

any ideas how to get it to work?

There's already a .50/1 8 game mix going with a wait list. Maybe we don't need 160k players that stars row has. Maybe of we can get this linked up with a few states it will be close enough. I just want my mixed games tournaments back

Casino games don't count towards your first deposit bonus. VPPs are not currently earned through Casino games, but you do earn StarsCoin. The wagering amounts per StarsCoin earned depends on the game, and are outlined here.

Please contact support@pokerstarsnj.com and please allow them some time to address the issue, but it will be resolved and you will receive credit for the deposit offer.

What do you mean updating from .com? I have been trying to download from the pokerstarsnj link and this is what's happening

i've tried repeatedly and get the same result
when i click on the app i get an "Install Update" message, i click update, then it asks for my admin password, i enter it, then it asks for my admin password again, i enter it again, then i get this

Emailed support to disable my pokerstars PIN. They were quick in responding just needed a few details. Unfortunately they reset my password instead of the pokerstars PIN. On the plus the answer was very fast.

Update on this problem:

There is a known issue for players attempting to go through the sign-up process from outside of NJ. At the moment, it isn't possible to go through our "Quick Account Creation" process, and you would have to create a new PokerStars NJ account in order to sign-up from outside the state.

My recommendation until this is resolved (and I'm told the fix may take a while) is to wait until you are physically located in New Jersey to sign-up, go through the Quick Account Creation process, in order to be eligible for a VIP Status and StarsCoin balance based on your play history.

Update for mobile users asking how to download the PokerStars NJ app:

iPhone - you should be able to download it now from the App store. Search for "PokerStars NJ" and be sure to scroll down the list as I'm told we are not (yet) among the top search results.

Android: you should be able to download the Android app from our homepage.

Hi there I would like further information as to why my account got blocked on poker stars and my funds got seized and that support are just giving me response like we've forwarded to manager and they never get back on the matter my account is grantshark23

I tried to convert my old PS account using the quick creation option and it gave me an error. A box popped up that said "Warning" Please email support@pokerstarsnj.com for assistance.

So I did and am waiting. But it also shows me logged on with my name and old icon and everything so I'm a bit confused.

If I click Cashier and try to deposit the Account Creation prompt pops up again.

Has anyone gotten a HUD to work? Poker Tracker specifically? For me it says "PokerStars does not appear to be installed."

Dylan, I have been trying to play on my MAC since 4pm. I have downloaded PSNJ several times and logged in. When it says "Do you live in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or Delaware?" I click "continue to pokerstars.com" but then everything just disappears. I've tried rebooting my computer too but this keeps happening.
