confirmed via email no p2p and no referral bonuses either.....dosnt ROW PS have those options?

P2P yes, I don't know about referral bonus. It's not in NJ because regulations don't allow for it.

Were does it say this? I've looked all over the special offer details and read the general terms and conditions and I cannot find it. I do see that on the Mega Cash Bonus specific page of the special offer details it says the following:

Quote:
Extra cash will be yours with no restrictions and no earning requirements.

I figure the "no restrictions" is intended to mean no restrictions on the use or withdrawal of the cash received, assuming that one is eligible to receive the cash in the first place, but I think it could be interpreted as meaning no restrictions to eligibility.

And I just cannot find where it says that making a withdrawal makes one ineligible. Could someone point out where it says this please? I have not made a withdrawal during the promotional period; I just want to know where this is and how I am missing it.

Thanks.

On the Christmas Festival Mega Bonus webpage, at the bottom of the page, click on "Special Offer Details & Rules" and it's the 6th bullet point.

Hope that helps.

Thanks.

I could not even tell that was clickable. I almost responded here saying that all I see under "Special Offer Details and Rules" is:

Quote:
See here for PokerStars general Terms & Conditions.

If you have any questions about the Christmas Festival and how you can take part, please contact Support.
with a link to the general terms and conditions and a link to e-mail support.

Then it occurred to me to try to click on the actual words "Special Offer Details and Rules" and there it was.

There is a little "+" way off to the right of the words (with a bunch of space in between the words and the "+") that I see now and that I guess is supposed to indicate it is clickable to expand it. Personally, I think this is a little too "hidden". I couldn't find it even when I knew it existed from this thread and was actively looking for it. But maybe I'm the only who had that problem.

Do I have to use my existing .com stars account, or can I create another one?
I relocated after black Friday and I don't have a US address on the .com account. Would this cause any conflict? I'm aware that I'm not allowed to login to my .com account in the states, but I'm also not sure about logging in with it on Stars NJ.
I'm physically in NJ right now.
Thanks for the help

The below quote is the first post in this thread. Per that post, you can create a new NJ account or sign up with your existing account through the Quick Account Creation process. However, if you do that, then your existing account will be closed.

In preparation for launch, I’ve created this thread to help answer any questions NJ residents may have and also share with you the below FAQ that will be helpful once you’re able to download the PokerStars NJ client from March 21.

As outlined on our PokerStarsNJ.com landing page, once you download the software and register using your existing PokerStars UserID, you will receive a VIP status and StarsCoin balance (formerly Frequent Player Points, converted at a 1.6 StarsCoin per FPP rate) based on your play history. The VIP status assigned to your PokerStars NJ account will be the higher of either your current existing PokerStars VIP status or your VIP status in April, 2011.

Here’s the FAQ with more information:

What needs to be done to start playing?

If you want to play real money games in New Jersey, you must create a new account on PokerStars NJ gaming platform. Quick account creation is accessible from either PokerStars NJ, or PokerStars.COM gaming clients.

What is Quick Account Creation?

It’s a guided process of PokerStars NJ account creation for play in the State of New Jersey for players that have existing accounts on PokerStars.com.

Please complete these simple steps:

1. Login using your existing account User ID and password
2. Review the on-screen information before you choose to proceed
3. Press ‘Create Account on PokerStars NJ’
4. You will see confirmation that your account was successfully created
5. a) If you logged in from PokerStars NJ software, you will be prompted to login to your new account, using the same User ID and password
b) If you logged in from another PokerStars software version, you will be prompted to upgrade the software version to PokerStars NJ
6. Upon login, you will be asked to acknowledge that you are at least 21 year of age and that you agree with our End User License Agreement
7. In order to play for real money, you will be required to complete electronic account verification. For your convenience, your personal details from your old account will be pre-populated for quick registration.

Your account will now be ready for play.

What will happen to my existing account?

Once you have created a new account on PokerStars NJ following the above steps, your old account will be closed.

What will happen to my account assets?

We will credit your new account with a VIP status, play money chips balance and StarsCoins (formerly FPPs) based on your historic play.

We are not able to offer any bonuses, T$ or tickets that were pending on your old account.

If you had a real money balance on your old account, which you haven’t cashed out, please email support@pokerstarsnj.com and we will advise you further how to cash out these funds.

Will I be able to play for Real Money against players from other countries?

Per the regulatory requirements in New Jersey, PokerStars NJ platform has a player pool limited to players physically located in the State of New Jersey only.

I am a non-US resident wanting to play Real Money Games on PokerStars NJ, can I?

You can only create a PokerStars NJ account and deposit if you have a valid SSN, a US postal address, and can meet the verification requirements. However, please be aware that you will not be able to play for real money unless you are physically located within the state of New Jersey.

What if I am a US resident outside of New Jersey, am I required to create an account on PokerStars NJ?

If you are not a resident of New Jersey, but are a US resident and would like to play our real money games and intend to visit the state of NJ now or in the future, we suggest opening a new PokerStars NJ account. Please be aware that you will not be able to play for real money unless you are physically located within the state of New Jersey.

Can I access my PokerStars NJ account outside of New Jersey?

Yes, you can log in and make a deposit or cash out request via the cashier, but you will be unable to play any Real Money games unless you are physically located within New Jersey.

What do I need to be able to play Real Money Games at PokerStars NJ?

The following criteria must be met to play at PokerStars NJ:

1) You must be 21 years of age or older
2) You must be physically located within New Jersey
3) You must have a Social Security Number and US postal address
4) You must have a PokerStars NJ account and complete electronic account verification

If I’m a non US resident visiting New Jersey, will I be able to play for Real Money?

No, you will be unable to play on PokerStars NJ. At present, in order to play Real Money games on PokerStars NJ you must have a Social Security Number (SSN) in order to complete account verification.

I am a US resident, can I access my original PokerStars account?

Yes. You are able to access your original PokerStars account, using the original PokerStars software, but you will be unable to play for real money.

Can I use the same User ID as I had before?

Yes, you can retain your User ID by following the Quick Account Creation process detailed above.

Can I change my old User ID during NJ account creation?

No, it is not possible to change your User ID as part of the Quick Account Creation process.

Can I create an account on PokerStars NJ and disregard my original PokerStars account?

Yes, you can opt to create a new account on PokerStars NJ and your existing account will be unaffected. However please note that you will not be able to use the same User ID unless you complete the quick account creation process from your original PokerStars account.

I am a resident of New Jersey, but I do not have an original PokerStars account. What do I do?

Welcome! All you have to do is download the PokerStars NJ software and follow the prompts to create a new account.

I forgot the User ID and password from my original PokerStars account, what do I do?

You will need to retrieve your User ID and password, using the original PokerStars software. Alternatively, you can create a new account on PokerStars NJ, however you will be unable to use your existing User ID unless you complete the quick account creation process from your original PokerStars account.

I am unable to access my original PokerStars account when I sign into PokerStars NJ, using my original PokerStars account details, why?

You will be unable to access your original PokerStars account on PokerStars NJ. You will only be able to create a new PokerStars NJ account with the same User ID and password, using the quick account process.

Dylan

Tourney suggestion... the only hyper tourneys at night are at midnight and 1am, both are $20 buyins. I would play this a lot more if they had one at 10pm. Move the 1am second-chance to 10pm. Could probably even make it a $10 buyin - would get more entrants and probably still meet the same guarantee.

I think Stars underestimates the appeal of the hyper tournaments overall. As far as I can tell the midnight hyper get consistently solid numbers. People are busy during the week and even turbo tournaments take too long.

Hi Dylan, I just sent a message to support, but I wanted to post here also to make sure this issue is addressed quickly. I'm not sure how the milestone hand promo is supposed to work, but the way it is setup atm is just utterly terrible and frustrating. The game play stops and there is a message that pops up saying that a host would arrive shortly and restart the table as well as do pay outs. I waited about 40 minutes on one table and about 15 minutes at another table for someone to restart the tables but then got sleepy and went to bed.

If this is not going to be automated, then there should be someone available 24/7 throughout this promotional period to be available to restart cash games in a timely manner.

Hi,

There was an issue earlier that has been resolved so that hosts are ready to handle these 24/7 so this problem should not happen again. Players that were impacted by our mishandling and had to wait will be credited their Milestone Hand prize later today, and we will be doubling their prize as a goodwill gesture.

Despite this hiccup, the Milestone Hand promotion should be a good one. $30 cash prizes are awarded to every player dealt into every Milestone Hand from 10am today to 11:59pm on December 28th. The hand winners will have their prizes doubled to $60. There's no limit to the number of Milestone Hands dealt, so you can win multiple times.

Best of luck, and Happy Holidays to all the PokerStars NJ TwoPlusTwo community.

Regards,
Dylan

Am I missing a counter or something telling when the hands are coming around? About how often have they been during peak playing time (8-11PM?)
12-23-2016 , 03:37 PM
Please start running some PCA satellites.

Can anyone explain how Supernova is going to work now and when rewards begin to be dispersed?
01-01-2017 , 09:18 PM
update on VIP club? is the stellar reward counter an error?
01-02-2017 , 01:24 AM
yeah i

im not earning any stars coins today. when i click on my status ( top of lobby by cashier) it shows me earning points but not clearing steps/earning stars coin. It says "vip step 1 of 0" mkay? and it shows how many points i need until next level.(silerstar, goldstar, etc )

when i click on that vip display bar option there is a display option for "next vip club cash reward(milestone credit)" . mine is set at 100,000 pts. which is double what takes to get to supernova. i think i earned about 1k points last month so i got a ways to go to clear that

im guessing this is some funky software bs. its been 24 hours though so maybe no more step clearing/earning star coin. not sure what the point of vip levels would be for or wtf this milestone vip bonus is.

i noticed this yesterday as well....star coin counter all F'ed up. Played for hours on end yesterday and earned nothing. Not the way I wanted to start the year

We're aware of the issues with the VIP Steps progress bar on PokerStars NJ and are investigating it. Any StarsCoin owed will be reimbursed to any players materially affected in the coming days.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused, and I'll provide an update when I have more info on when the issue will be fixed.

Issue should now be fixed and players should see their progress bar and be earning StarsCoin. However, players are owed StarsCoin for VIP Steps they completed so far this year up until now. We'll have to get a report and then credit all affected players, which may take a couple days to complete. I'll post here when credits have been made, and again apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
Dylan

Thank you Dylan. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but is it correct that I am on a 2,000 starscoin step despite attaining Supernova for this year? I thought all of the steps were 5,000+. Thanks

Can someone please give us a "good" reason why no PCA satties were even attempted besides the lame freerolls. Some kind of $100-$200 re entry on sunday surely could have reached a $5k seat only prize. Just seems like all the NJ sites continue to fail on satties to live stuff. Figured stars would be different..guess not.

hey dylan any deposit bonuses for Jan?

Update: StarsCoin should now be credited for players who weren't earning VIP Steps progress this past weekend.

We didn't run seat-only satellites to PCA on PokerStars NJ given the relatively high-cost of travel & expenses to the Bahamas which could lead to disappointment for some players. I understand that may not be a satisfactory answer for your situation in particular, but wanted to pass on our perspective.

Dylan

During these Cash Royal daily puzzles, is everyone getting the same one each day? If I had the '4 Kings of each suit' puzzle yesterday, is it fair to assume everyone else is also trying to get (and win) with Kings? Or is the puzzle random to each person?

Thanks.

Jesse
