With 500 players online at peak timescale are actually playing and maybe 5-7 tourneys per day requiring a deal "hosts" are probably 2 employees that wear 15 different hats within pokerstars NJ. Sorry to derail ur post but I keep trying to give PS NJ a solid chance but man the MTT environment is just so sad.

I'm not really sure what this has to do with my post. Regardless of how many hats these hosts are wearing they should be able to take 2 minutes (and literally 2 minutes, sometimes it takes even less time than that) to chop up a tourney. If the current staff is incapable of that due to a lack of employee resources or whatever it might be, then they either need to find a way to add the software that Party has when it comes to making deals, or just get rid of deals altogether. Yesterday I had a pretty valid reason to want my session to be over as quickly as possible (our dog hit his head really hard and was bleeding a bit and the whole scene was pretty chaotic) so I agreed to take an ICM chop in a spot I often wouldn't have, simply to be able to get off the computer and deal with that situation. After 20 minutes of waiting a host came. If I knew it was going to take that long I might have just played it out anyway.

On a separate note, is there any timeframe for when the structures will be available for the live tournaments to be held at resorts in early November? Or have they already been released and I missed it?

Well my credit card somehow got decided for one of my transactions a month after the fact. My problem is that stars has absolutely no customer service to resolve this. Borgata has 24-7 chat support. I have been searching for a way to contact stars and I can't even figure out a phone number to call.

The standards have become horrible guys. The row players are shocked at how bad they have become.I'm sure they really rev'd up the feel good to get your money on the site but when your clear away all the balloons and confetti, what you're left with is very underwhelming. this is not close to the same company that left you in 2012. Not close. And this is my concern in regards to game safety. PLObots ran for over a year on stars even though players repeatedly expressed concern. It would be frightening if warnings were popping up alerting potential cheaters and there simply isn't enough staff to go through and check. These are things that concern me

I'm priced out of these tournaments except for satellites as they're just too far out of my online BR. I realize that it's a always a bigger series than SCOOP but I thought the NJSCOOP schedule was much more inclusive.

I'm sure a lot of the real regs will be more happy with this kind of schedule since it will swell the prizepools, though.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to come to Jersey for a few days for NJcoop. I am from Pittsburgh, PA. Does anyone have any good suggestions of a nice inexpensive place to stay for maybe 5 days?

Thanks
Chris

schedule looks pretty decent, curious to see how these multi start days work out.

remember when stars use to post in here several times a day? Not even 9 months and they stopped, lol.

Wcoop schedule looks like a normal Monday on ROW pokerstars.

That said I'm kinda excited. Glgl everybody, excited for some of the mixed game variants.

If you'd like to speak to someone, on the desktop client go to Help --> Contact Support --> Open Contact Support Form --> Choose Category --> Request Callback. You can then enter your information and you'll receive a call to the phone number registered to your Stars Account.

Still here and monitoring the thread. As previously mentioned I was away for a couple weeks this month thus the radio silence.

In 2017, date still to be determined, we will launch a new rewards program that recognises your play on poker and casino, and rewards you for recent activity, not monthly or annual play volumes. As a result, from January 1, Supernova VIP status will become a monthly status for players until the launch of the new rewards program.

As we look to the future, we will offer an even more exciting and engaging rewards program with a continued focus on recreational players. Here’s a look at what’s coming up:

• Rewards for all of your activity

Earn rewards by playing poker and casino games. You won’t be required to play on any specific product, but your activity on all products will help you progress on your path to earning rewards.

• Rewards based on recent activity

Currently, your VIP progress resets each month, but most players play only a few times a month. Rewards will be personalized to your recent gaming activity and profile, not your monthly or annual play volumes, to improve player retention and engagement at all levels. As a result, our current VIP statuses will be discontinued upon launch of the new program.

• Supernova VIP status

As announced via our website at the start of 2016, currently advertised Supernova rewards are for this year only, and the value of rewards in 2017 are subject to change.

From January 1, Supernova will be a monthly status for players who achieve it in 2017, while players who earn Supernova status in 2016 will retain it until the launch of the new rewards program. The value of VIP rewards and monthly VIP status requirements for 2017 are still subject to change.

• What’s next?

Expect a detailed update on our new reward program later in the year, including timing of launch and more details of the program as they are finalized.

Regards,
Dylan

hey Dylan , this last couple of months have been tough , I am chrome status ok and I get to about level 15 of the 25 needed for silver , its been like this for over 4 months solid with every time I get to about level 15-20 irc 5-8 steps short of the accrued , so in effect my account every month is reset to chrome still , surely this is a mistake to tier up like this to show the rights and wrongs of the benefit system and promotion bonus situation.
its like im never going to reach those peak tiers without going some on the volume of playing.
is there any solutions to these situations? can we not get longer than a month?

It'd be nice if NJCOOP had smaller buy in for HORSE, 3 stud, 8 game, and even triple draw 2-7. Stars is great because it is the only site to offer a full variety of games, but if it can't be bothered for COOP series why should I traipse across the river for games I can get on untracked eurosites if I'm willing to keep my bankroll under $5k?

Thanks Dylan. I really hope you guys dont impact rakeback at mid-highstakes. It is already absurdly high and I know quite a few people who don't play the games (especially limit, but bigbet also) because of the higher-than-normal rake.

There is no current solution to extend VIP status requirements beyond the monthly period. However, the new rewards program that is being planned should address some of your concerns by moving to a system which rewards more recent activity and is not tied to monthly play volumes.

What does this mean? Activity within the last month is pretty recent by most people's standards. Can you guys at least attempt to be transparent instead of continuously jerking people around?

NJCOOP schedule looks cool, interested to see how some of the tourneys fair. Looking forward to it

I will be coming in from Pittsburgh for this and GSSS. Anything I need to know about the account process? I have a Stars account from pre Black Friday, do I create a new one? Are HUD's okay? When I was in Vegas this summer, I found out you couldn't use HUD's there, that's why I ask.

Thanks

Because not all details of the new rewards program are decided yet, I'm not in a position to provide more information at this stage. We plan to share more information when we are able to in the coming months.

Sorry that I can't be more specific, and thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Dylan

it means they want everyone playing casino and screw poker players. And no, they will be as evasive as possible in case they change things around. They let super novas play 9 months before tricking and deceiving them taking 50K from each one, all players were under the impression they would be paid out rewards for the full 12 months. How sad is that. very deceptive and untrustworthy.....and becomingly standard
