Well it will be pretty amazing for stars to lower their VIP reward system in NJ after less than a year of operating in NJ. They already increased the rake over what they initially posted when they launched. I don't think any other site has increased rake or lowered the VIP rewards system and most have been operating in NJ almost 4 years.

WSOP launched at raking .01/.20 in cash games and quickly switched to .01/.18. They also lowered their VIP program too but I don't remember what that was at the start.

So, from the new promotion, I got a ticket that expires tomorrow, but there's no MTT related to the ticket, and I haven't gotten anything else. Anyone else try using it?

The terms on the promo said that you get the money and a ticket that will expire in 24 hours that isn't good for anything.

Please add a FR nightly r/a that doesn't start at 2am. There is enough of the re-entry tournaments and all these $500-$1K prize pools, it's time to add a $5-$10 r/a at 7-8pm, similar to what WSOP has. It works and players love it, start off with a $10 r/a $3K gtd and work from there.

Party has released their GSSS schedule a few days ago and I would assume Pokerstars would do the same hopefully.

Giving the party/borg series a fast look over and im glad we have a couple of plo and plo8 mtts but why stud?

This applies to pokerstars too bc they run stud mtts and maybe im wrong but i think a stud 8, horse, 8 game all would get more runners than a stud hi
mtt. Maybe the sites dont have the ability to run those games? I dont know why they wouldnt be able to at this stage.

Agreed. It's very difficult to beat a 5.5% rake especially if you are not a big bet player (but even if you are)

I would play at chico, 888, and party if not for this reason.

IF you live in NJ; Stars still best.

Since Resorts doesn't have a poker room, can I assume that they won't be spreading cash games during the PS Festival in Oct/Nov? Or will they be setting up a temporary room to for cash games?

Made deposit today and tkt immediately - its greyed out - couldnt use it if I tried. Bonus has yet to appear after 3 hrs. Cust svc "referred to the appropriate area".

Deal making has to be improved on this site. Party has a good system where players do it on their own, WSOP cuts it out completely, but PokerStars has this terrible half-way system where deals are allowed but you have to wait 20+ minutes for a host to show up. It's really obnoxious that 2 players sit here with the idea that they can make a deal, agree to certain numbers, but can't do anything about it and have to sit in limbo and decide when enough is enough and they should play.
