On Windows 10, Dell laptop. Playing 1 cash game and 1 tourney. Was also playing on WSOP at the time. Sound was normal at first, but then it went from the bleeps, the sweeps and the creeps to something else, like it was degrated and full of static. It affected the sound on WSOP also.

I killed a Windows sound process that was taking up a lot of cpu resources via the task manager and the sound came back fine for the last 20 minutes or so.

dylan--the old address stars has for me is a KS address, this isnt valid.

i use my friends house in vegas for my valid mailing address (which is needed sometimes when purchasing online, and being told to enter zip code). i dont have a valid address in NJ. i live out of casino hotels and must change rooms every 2 days. i also spend 100% of my time in NJ and would like to use my old pokerstars acct without creating a new one.

when i try to hit create acct, it transfers me over to pokerstars.com, then back to pokerstarsNJ, then back to pokerstars.com, in a circle, back and forth without ever doing anything im stuck. is it because the address it has for me isnt in NJ? please advise--the only thing i see to do is create a new acct. (losing any vip points)

the address on my state id is a louisiana state ID with a louisiana address. is this the one i need for verification to work? or the KS one? (instead of the real one in vegas)

The Quick Account Creation process closes your ROW account, so if you wish to maintain your ROW account, please open a new PokerStars NJ account. You will not receive a VIP Status or StarsCoin based on play history, however.

The exception to this is if you wish to forfeit your ROW Account VIP status, in which case you can request that we downgrade your ROW account VIP status and upgrade your PokerStars NJ VIP status. Note that StarsCoin and real money can't be transferred between these two accounts.

There is one area I need to seek clarification on as I can't say with certainty what would happen to your FTPs if you go through the Quick Account Creation process and close your ROW account. There may be an issue with transferring any assets from a ROW account to PokerStars NJ, in which case we would have to find a fair alternative solution. I will seek clarification and get back to you in this thread.

Thanks,
Dylan
So I should wait until the merger is over before then going through the quick account process? When is the merger happening? Thank you very much for the quick response.

You can create a PokerStars NJ account if you living in the U.S. but not a NJ resident, so that shouldn't be a problem. You obviously have to be physically located in NJ to be able to play. I recommend contacting support@pokerstarsnj.com regarding the email address issues.

This is the first report of "Create Account" button sending you to PokerStars.com. That shouldn't be happening if you are on the PokerStars NJ software and located in NJ.

Please let me know if it persists.

If this problem persists, please contact support@pokerstarsnj.com. with your issue. I don't believe you can manually change your country, however, which may be why you're having these difficulties.

Thanks,
Dylan

Thanks!
I had the same issue, and it was resolved easily and quickly with help from security@pokerstarsnj.com.

Problem came back after killing the process. It looks like it is with Windows audio graph isolation process. Not sure what in PokerStars causes it to go nuts.

I fixed it a second time by doing the following from this link: http://windows-exe-errors.com/fix-audiodg-exe-high-cpu-usage-in-windows-7/

Preventing Audiodg.exe From Hogging CPU Usage

Out of all the possible problems, the most common complaint is that the audiodg.exe process hogs CPU process and causes the PC’s sound to “stutter” or completely lose audio altogether. Some users report that their computer locks up from CPU usage being tapped out as high as 95-100 percent.

To minimize the effect of audiodg.exe on your system, you can try the following method.

Right-click on the speaker icon on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select Playback Devices.
Look for the icon with the green check mark.
Highlight the icon.
Click Properties and then click on the Enhancements tab.
Check the “Disable All Enhancements” checkbox.

Dylan,

I clicked on the link you provide, when I click on play poker, it says safari cannot download this file. Why is that?

For those cant get account verification to work make sure you have your full legal name typed in(for example I had my name as Chris and was denied, changed my name to Christopher and was accepted). Dylan will VPPs earned through playing casino games count towards first time deposit bonus ?

looks good excited to see all the varieties offered for cash games!!!!!

I'm looking into this. The FTP merger with PokerStars, which otherwise doesn't impact PokerStars NJ, is expected sometime this Spring.

Some good news. The webpage issues appear to be fixed, so below are a few links that I believe should be helpful based on the questions tonight:

Download link from the homepage

$600 Deposit Bonus details

"Free 50" Deposit Bonus details

Quick Account Creation FAQ

Verifications FAQ

Geolocation FAQ

Spin & Go probability table

There's quite a bit more to peruse if you're curious.

Hope this helps!

when u bring up pokerstarsNJ.com it will say if u live in NJ,NY,PA or DE to click this link to go to pokerstars.com to move ur acct. this is why i was taken to pokerstars.com of course, when i tried to move the acct, it went back to pokerstarsNJ, thus never doing anything. im guessing ill just have to create a new one since my address isnt listed in those areas though id like for it to be. but then i lose the bonus for fpp points in the past

This is the same issue I have. This issue has not resolved with the fix to the software you mentioned. I have contacted support who has not replied. Is there a fix to this issue or not?

Happened to me also. When I login to PS NJ with my old ROW acct, sends me to a screen:

Do you live in NJ, NY, PA or Delaware. Click "Continue to PokerStars.com" and follow the instructions to move your account.

It then downloads the PS ROW client. Then sends you to a screen asking you to create the account on PS NJ. Then it re-downloads the PS NJ client. And everything looks like it worked. And I think this is intended.

It was just very confusing that it downloaded the PS ROW client. Thought things were totally messed up, but did it again, followed the instructions, and all was good.
