I will eventually figure it out or get on phone, but it should not be this difficult.
I had a stars.com play money account for testing hm3 when stars.mi launched and it updated my installed client, and account/etc, to a Michigan account so hopefully, you should be able to get yours converted if you can contact some competent support staff.

This is the Stars MI thread, not the HM3 support thread.

The first thing you should do anytime you have an HM3 problem is reproduce/screenshot the problem then send your logs and the screenshots with a detailed problem description as instructed in our how to send logs FAQ.

Looks like traffic is up a bit in the evenings -- I saw about 800+ online the other night. Still, it would be nice for this merger to happen before the end of the year. Has anyone heard any news on PStars MI merging with PA, NJ, or NV?

In other news, I changed my icon temporarily to add some humor to the table and give a shout out to an old PStars/2+2 meme from long ago (if it was even called a meme back then)...

I thought that was all just a dream until I found this article. No new info though:

What's up w/ the smiley faces next to the table names after 5pm? Some kind of happy hour, I assume, but what do we get out of it?

Considering we're approaching holiday season, 2023 is the likely scenario.

Stuff to consider:
1. From what I gather, nobody knows if the merge has to be done simultaneously (WSOP/BetMGM/Pokerstars), or if a single operator can merge at any point.

2. WSOP still has to update their clients in NV/DE/NJ in order to be able to merge with MI. I would assume days/weeks of testing the new software will need to happen first before a merge. Nothing has been been announced as to when that will happen.

3. BetMGM may hold off on merging until they launch their NV site. Nothing has been been announced regarding NV client. Also, BetMGM NJ software is still old compared to their PA/MI sites. Nothing has been been announced as to when the NJ client will get an update. Same as WSOP, I would assume days/weeks of testing the new NV client (assuming they're waiting for NV launch), and days/weeks of testing the new NJ software will need to happen first before a merge.

I'm assuming BetMGM/Pokerstars will run 1 last tournament series before the year is up. When those series are announced, that should be nail in the coffin as to if a merge will happen this year or not.

Thank you. I emailed them a few days ago and they never got back to me... Unless it's in junk mail.

Interesting information, thanks. Based on your info and the article that otter posted, I agree we are looking at spring of next year most likely at the earliest.

How is the traffic on pokerstars MI on 200nl+?

Also, how would you compare the level of play to other sites (for example Ignition)?

Anyone else's rewards bar progress stuck all of a sudden? It was going up earlier today (I am pretty sure...) but within the past hour or so it seems to have stopped.

edit: Closed the client and logged back in ... seems to be updated now.

Hey everyone, the tournament start times I'm seeing in the real-money lobby are 4 hours ahead of actual time, eg a tournament showing a start time of midnight actually started at 8PM. There isn't a timezone settings like in standard PS, which I assume is because this is limited to a single geolocation. I did a search on here for this but couldn't find anything. Anyone know what's happening, and if there's a fix? Thanks!

Hot damn!!!
I got this email today. Site Maintenance Occurring December 12th and 13th To Bring Michigan and New Jersey Poker Players Together

The upgrade is a necessary milestone to bring you more games, bigger prize pools & guarantees in poker tournaments so New Jersey and Michigan poker players can compete against one another in the near future.

No idea when the "near future" is.

I have been monitoring the NJ player pool a little bit and it seems most of the time, there are less cash tables running on the NJ site compared to MI... not sure about tournaments.

Crossing my fingers that combining pools doesn't increase the difficulty of the games. I think it will, at least for cash...

My prediction for cash games... we will see a higher reg to rec ratio ... and less *total* tables overall compared to when the pools were separate - but more tables than we had on either MI or NJ alone - due to a player tendency to join tables that are already there instead of making new ones (just a theory not saying it's a fact).

For tournaments, maybe a bit higher reg to rec ratio but higher guarantees so not as bad?

Hope I'm wrong ...

Someone mentioned earlier that NJ has about 1/3 the players that Michigan has on PS, although they didn't mention any hard numbers. I know MI has had about 1000 players online during the last few evenings, so hopefully we at least start seeing 1300+ with the combined pool.

It's a bit odd that NJ's numbers are so low since total population numbers are MI at 10 mil and NJ at just over 9 million, so we're not far off in overall population.
