Hi guys.

Had account froze over 18 months which they finally openend due to a proof of funds check.

Got account back few months ago. Played a bit on there.

So here is the strange part.

They revoke my playing privileges and then send me an email from stars.fr asking my relationship to my stars.com account name

If anyone remembers you could play .fr and .com back in 2012 from the uk.

This changed on 11th november 2014 which the customer service team (who were great back then) cashed out all my euros and anf coverted ffp balances.


So now they are asking me if i ever played on two accounts. These kids were probably in diapers when i was grinding mtts on .fr and .com

I indeed do remember these times, and it was clearly allowed to have account on each plattform. I think if you could reach someone competent within stars I'm positive everything would be able to fix. It seems like nowadays (and for the last few years) whenever you try to reach support on pokerstars, you get someone who is on his first day of his job. Did you try to reach out to any of the stars pros, maybe one of them could help you out?

Most people who were around when stars.fr existed played on both so I would be very surprised if they had issues with it. You would be the first I imagine to experience something like this.

Have played at Pokerstars since just before the Moneymaker poker boom won't defend their customer support it use to be ALOT better. Thankfully I've been lucky and have rarely ever had to deal with support specially lately but keep hearing it ain't great/good experience for those that have. Agree with ggbruce above this should be an easy fix or situation to clean up provided you can get ahold of someone competent and high enough up the food chain. Imagine some of the problem is most of support team now days likely have no clue about how it use to be and both fr and com sites. Hell I had no idea about fr and com sites till I read this post and I've been Stars a very long time like you. Best advice I guess is to just keep trying Jayme as frustrating as it can be.
