Ive read stories of stars refunding people in similar circumstances. Ive played nearly 16000 sngs on stars, and this has never happened to me.

I was affected by October 4th server problems at Pstars. I have been sitting out during 2 step 3 sng tournaments and ultimately got blinded out.

I contacted support, they reviewed my tournamets and refunded me 2 step 3 tickets. That's really sweet of Pstars. Def my favourite site.

They didn't refund me, as I was connected when my hands were folded, and apparently losing my entire 120 second timebank in the Warmup did not materially affect the outcome of the tournament for me.

Also, all the others, the more recent Stars Down threads, seemed to have been locked.

im a the library doing some research and while doing so im playing real $ on full tilt....i also am trying to play on stars flr low limit s and i cannot for the life of me connect to the site...and ive connected to it fom here before.

not sure wtf is going on, and why all of a sudden im not allowed to log in from here...its keeps tring to connest and failing over and over and over.

there is no firewall here...it makes no sense that it wouldnt work and ftp would....anyone have any idea let me know please.

like i said too...im playing for $ on full titl as we speak...and have used p stars at this library before as well..

really pssing me off to be honest.

I'm in the exact same situation... trying to kill some time before a meeting by playing a few tables on PokerStars. I'm in my alma mater's library where I still have full wireless Internet privileges. Full Tilt connects fine, but PokerStars just sits there trying to connect with no success. I've used PokerStars here before, so I'm not really sure what the deal is...

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I had the same problem a few days ago. I downloaded Stars, since I'm thinking about moving there for the time being (slower tourney blinds structure => less variance). I played a few play money games and the connection was awful (it's not my ISP, I played simultaneously for real money on another client and it ran flawlessly). I played a 990-man turbo for play money and in 40 minutes of play, I was disconnected in 2/3 of all hands I played. I won it tho

I think I'm not gonna deposit there for a while.

Was in a tourney, went to break now the connection is not working... the rest of my computer is working fine... says that the network is bad... anyone else experiencing the same problem.

I've had a lot of connection issues on stars lately, I don't know what they're doing over there behind the curtains, but its annoying and doesn't happen elsewhere.

instead of freaking out why don't you write a professional e-mail to Stars saying that the connection seemed to be having issues for many players and that your computer was totally fine elsewhere but you couldn't access Stars for some reason?

Sometimes things happen. Internet issues, servers, etc. Usually Stars is pretty good. But when you think something is happening on their end that affected your equity you can politely notify them about it instead of acting like it's the end of the world.
