Super laggy this morning for anyone else?

Nah, pretty good for me.

Is Stars lagging for anyone else? I'm getting timed down/disconnected every time I try to play.

When I try to play 'The Deal' the client crashes.

When I stay away from 'The Deal' it works fine.

If i install and reinstall will I lose my notes?

I'm sorry you're having problems with The Deal. Could you please let me know which client version you are using? Please go to Help > About PokerStars and look for the 5-digit Build number.

If you uninstall everything then you would lose your notes. Typically, if you just reinstall (without first uninstalling) then you should not lose them, but in either case you absolutely should back up your notes before you do anything.

Usually I would tell players to go to Help > Open My Settings Folder in order to find the notes files, but if you can't open the software that won't work.

So, presuming you are using Win/PC, you would find your Settings folder in Windows Explorer at User > AppData > Local > PokerStars. On my computer, my 'User' is 'Keith', so my notes are in Keith > AppData > Local > PokerStars.

The next time this happens, please send your log files to Support so we can begin investigating. When you restart the client, please go to Help > Log Files, add a description of the crash event (what action you took, how the crash happened, etc.) and click Send Log Files.

When I open the client, it says a new version is available to install. However, it times out before the install is complete. Checking the network status shows the Isle of Man connection if Bad (0%). All other servers are 100%.
Can't get a message to PS help since I can't open the client!

Looks like the situation resolved itself, the software finally updated.

FYI - the IOM Server in the network status panel is not ours and has nothing to do with us or our connectivity. In fact, all of the servers listed have no relation to us, we don't control them in any way. They are just a selection of well-known, large, public servers around the world, and the panel shows your connectivity to those servers to get a sense of how strong your particular network connectivity is.

If many of those servers are showing poor or zero connectivity, it most likely indicates a problem on your end or at your ISP, as it would be very rare to have public servers so widely separated go down at the same time.

One server being down occasionally is not a problem. That IOM server that is always showing 0% is probably not in service any more, and we really should try pointing to a different public server. I've raised the issue several times with development but it never seems to be a priority. I apologize for the confusion it generates.
