They don't advertise 40% rb fwiw. It's up to 40% and more for 50 / 100k year rakers. It's worse for lower stakes players and esp for small stakes flash players that are getting roughly a 40% cut in rb.

That's weird it told me to upgrade to the .com client from .eu thought it was the new rewards system but nothing. Oh my days lost all my notes ffs.

They did say you have to finish your old chest before you get switched to the new system.

You most likely did not lose the notes. Here's what you have to do. Close the client first.

In C:\Users\name_of_ur_pc\AppData\Local\PokerStars.EU there is a file called "notes.stars_id.xml.bak". Make a backup of it first. Then you have to remove ".bak" from its name and confirm the change. That's it.

The AppData folder might be hidden by default, in which case google is your friend.

Your notes are saved, just copy or import them from .eu to .com client. There are two different folders for each client.

FYI from Discord if you completed a chest yesterday

We launched later yesterday than planned and we are aware of some players who were excited to join the new program yesterday upon completion of their progress bar but due to the delayed launch remained on the old program. If you earned a chest yesterday (22nd January) before the new program launched and would like to move to the new program please contact support who can assign you and pro-rata credit you for any progress made on your current progress bar.

Yeah looks like its the new rakeback for me now I completed the chest and got a message about getting an easier chest or something. Now I have to complete 0/5 chests. But the deal is still there.

After reading over the new rewards system on Pokerstars today, it definitely looks like the system is worse for the casual and non-professional players. To be able to access extra rewards at select, it looks like you would need to spend over $1,000 in MTT buy ins per day, everyday for three months. This is well above my buy in amounts. It seems like only Diamond or Black players would be able to achieve the Select status.

It seems like the rakeback % is increased for Gold and Silver, which are now at 25% and 20%. Gold used to be 20%, but I don't recall what Silver was. 18.5% maybe? But players who can only maintain Gold or Silver won't have enough volume to get any extra rewards, which caps their rakeback at these percentages.

Did the rewards start yet? The chest progress bar did increase after playing a bit. Someone said you have to finish whatever current chest you are on before you start getting this new rakeback?

Yes that's right, once you've finished the chest you're on now you will be moved to the new system.

100k rake over 12 month period. Select is 50k.

$1 rake = 100 points. 50k in rake you would need 5 million points.

Divide 5 million by 365 and then get grinding
