Oh dear, finally a simple and good rakeback system, yet ppl want back to surprise chests and gg tendencies.

Chk10x, just take a month off from stars and you will get smaller challenge, dont do 50% of it.

Just to share my experience guys, I was playing unusually higher volume in March, and my monthly challenge went to 5500 pts in April. For 4 months it was at this level and I was not completing even half that amount. It wasn't until I had sent multiple emails to Stars to contact marketing and review my challenge. For August it is now back down to the 2500 pt level, that it normally has been.

So if anyone just cuts back their play for one month, I'm not too sure if that will be enough to reduce the pts requirement for the challenge. It was a bit of a hassle to get it back to a level that I could complete.

Just curious guys, but can anyone compare the GG rewards to Pokerstars? Is it comparable in anyway or is one better than the other? I have been on Pokerstars for years now. I have never been on GG, but have contemplated opening an account and trying it out.

I'm not sure if you are able to request that kind of history from support, but I haven't tried. I have been keeping track and writing out the rewards I've been gettig just to compare the quality of the rewards at different levels.

The redemption points seem to be adding up slower each month. I wonder if they are doing this on purpose to make players put in even more volume. I doubt the 5000 points can be completed in one month at simply 5nl without playing a ridiculous number of hands has to be 10nl at least.

yes, on 5nl you are playing very low so obviously pay little rake (even though rake% is high), you cant expect to clear big bonusses at the second lowest limit

improve > move up to 10nl or 25nl > then grinding bonuses will seem a lot easier

i believe redemption points are just set compared to rake paid. If they seem to be adding up slower it can only be because you are paying less rake currently, its not like they have a pvi like gg where you get less rakeback after a winning month

they should adapt to your history, if you fail to clear them (and especially if not even close) you should get easier rewards next month
if this is not happening you should contact stars support

If you dont like rakeback grinders (pre rb breakeven/losing players) then why do you like stars rb system? It literally rewards them and punishes winners like yourself.

support is useless. They said challenges are based on previous month, I haven't even cleared 50% of the bonus last 3 months.

It's not random. The current fish you are chasing in their rakeback system is known ahead of time and how many points you need to catch it so you can calculate how much rake you need to generate to get that reward. You can also see the odds ahead of time on the spin wheel for the distribution of rakeback% possibilities paid out.

There is variance in their system and I guess your PVI can also change for future fish lowering or raising your potential rakeback on future fish. Either way you can figure out your expected rakeback on the current fish by just doing some math.
