PokerStars confirms new rewards program: Chests - Page 103 - PokerStars: General discussion -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I've until June 6th to finish my chest and I doubt I will.
I can opt for a smaller chest now.
What happens if I just keep going until June 6th?
Will I lose everything or will I automatically get the smaller chest on jun 6th?

TBH for a small stakes player this reward system is not very attractive. ATM. for small stakes player (blue chest) you need to "make" 2.500rp so for a player who plays around 1.5-2k hands per session it might take eaven a 4-5 sessions to make the chest... and the rewards are just a joke... f.e. in last 9 chest i got no StarCoins only tickets to S&G and/or PS freerolls... So generally speaking you need to play more to get any cash reward... Will see how does it look like when I'll grind up.

It doesn't get any better. Rakeback at pokerstars is virtually 0% for everyone that does better than breaking even at the tables

I've spent the last week gaining 5,000 points to open up chest number 8 of 10. I open it. Get 500 starscoin. My next chest now requires 48,500 !!! Wtf???? It will take me 6 weeks to open it!!!!

I was on my way to do the ufc thing. It was already hard since i was on black chests, but it became impossible when my chests suddenly increased to cost 335.000 points. Yes, that's $3.350 in rake. Per chest. When I finally got the next chest, the program had ended, and I got 35$ in rakeback. yay

I don't play there myself but I really don't get this. They still have the best client, biggest selection of games that runs 24/7, instant cashouts and not everybody need the rb to survive. What I've heard the games are atleast decent atm in cash.

Wanted to play the sunday storm and realised its now a UFC KO Fest, that i can deal with but it's just that titling ufc area noise that pisses me off. Went all in with 95o and said f it. Stars are just a parody of themselves at this point in time.

I have decent rakeback with the new system, around 20% on average. My last silver chest was over 50%.

Fwiw last time I played stars was close to a year ago and now I received email that I can get a $100 chest after raking $250 and shortly after that deposit offer for $200 deposit and $30 instantly + $20 worth of spin tickets. Anyone else getting these or am I just a special kind of snowflake?

Has anybody tried to opt out of their promotions to try and keep their chest at the same price?

Every promotion is an open chest promotion and they then increase the chest price 15X every time so you can't hit any of the prizes. You end up worse than before the promotion began.

Very strangely, my blue chest requirements went from 2500 to 400 points. I play zoom NL50, managed to get to the 10th one and was upgraded to bronze which is now a 750 points requirement.

not complaining, but I wonder why it changed so much.

Thank you Stars for reducing the requirement for a blue chest from 2500 to 600 points for me; although I had 3 month left to fill up the 2000 points I already had you just deleted those 2000 points and let me start at ZERO! And the best thing is: The "new" blue chest is worth $0.6 instead of $0.5: Are you really offering me 10% rakeback, or will you delete my points again (this time I only have 1 month to fulfill the requirement)?

On August 21 I'll see what happens: Due to some lack of motivation I will not reach those 600!

Guess that Stars is not interested in lazy players like me!
