Obviously it seems hard for many people to understand that many of us have never been eligible of these challenges. Is it that hard to get?

How is it shady ? Certain countries have legislations in place meaning stars can't offer some promo's.

So you are saying that having useless challenges with sports for 1$ revenue is ok, but when some governments see that their players might get some money back, that is where they draw the line.

When some players get up to 65% while others up to 25%, this alone seems shady to me.
If that was really the case, they could have found other ways to compensate them and make things to look fair.

Of course i am referring to silver chest level and above.

Hey guys, does anyone know if the monthly poker bonus (formerly called the Exclusive Poker Challenge I believe) is affected by what level of reward chest you are on?

I am currently Gold. I recently moved up in stakes slightly for my SNG games. I am now almost able to clear my 7th Gold chest and move up to Diamond. However, I am cautious of doing this if it will make the monthly challenge more difficult. I am required to get 2,500 points. I've moved up in stakes that it is attainable for me, but I don't want it to get any higher than that. I'm wondering if I should just wait until early December to move up to Diamond instead of doing it in November. Not sure if that would make a difference or not with the bonus.

I don't know for sure but I imagine it would make a difference yes.

In your shoes, I would 100% let the new challenge roll in before moving up.

Guys, I just got my bonus offer for December. Last month it was $200 for 2,500 pts. This months it is $50 for 2,500 pts, LOL! I will not be making much of an effort to clear this. I'm quite disappointed to get that kind of a bonus offer

I'm not sure how much profit plays a factor, but I was much more profitable this past November, compared to Sep and Oct. Sep I was -$400 just on play, without the monthly bonus. Oct I was up $50 just on play. Nov I made $1,000 just on play. So my bonuses given for Oct and Nov were $200, and the bonus for Dec is now $50.

How many $200 chests/challenges would it allow you to complete?

Last month I was allowed to complete 5x $10 chests with 125 points on each. This month I've got access to 2x $20 chests with 250 points for each. Essentially same amount of points required for 20% less RB.

I got the same offer that I didn't complete last month. 40€ for 2000 points.

All in all this new reward system didn't change much for me. I'm getting the odd cash from chests, the majority is coins that I can't exchange for money, and tickets that I don't (want to?) use.

Completed 3 x $40 last month, offered 2 x $40 this month. Would be nice if they offered multiple options like they do with some other challenges, their automated system doesn't seem too smart.

It depends, if your 10$ is 40% rb then it’s not so bad. Unless of course you play quite high in which case it’s disgusting.

They only offer two of those this month because they have that useless xmas promo running. Hopefully next month is 4x again.

I'm not sure of a max limit, but I would have been at least two. I barely finished the first one with a couple of days left in the month. But I was allowed to start it again a second time, and barely got any points before the month ended.

Just curious guys, but are there any other sites that have comparable traffic for games and better rewards? I've only tried 888 and PartyPoker recently, but their player pools and game availability were just so much smaller.

No. GGis the biggest and the rb system is pretty sheet with the pvi. Allso if you play cash 3bets pre are raked and you pay 1bb for every over 30bb pot for the bbjp and in rush splashthepot or something.

This month Pokerstars has a promotion called Bauble Blast. The rewards are based on how many progress bars you complete.

Right now I am completed 6/7 gold chests. I should be able to move to diamond in a few days. I am thinking of dropping down to a lower chest level, maybe even starting at the beginning in order to clear progress bars more rapidly. Has anyone else ever tried something like this?

I'm wondering if dropping down chest levels is a way to hack the system and get more rewards from the Bauble promotion, but then again at the same time, maybe its what Pokerstars wants you to do.

Dropping down from gold chests to blue would mean my RB percentage would go from 18.5% to 15%. So if the rewards from the Bauble promotion are fairly minimal, Pokerstars would benefit by having to pay me less rakeback on my chests. So I'm not sure how to view this right now. I do think Pokerstars is pretty savvy when it comes to short changing their customers, so maybe this is what the intent of the Bauble promotion is.

How far do you need to drop down before you lose the monthly challenges? If at all? NVM - you lose them at Bronze and below.
