with the addition of these badges, it would be interesting to know how many hands some of you OG's have actually played lifetime?
I believe there used to be prizes back in the day for however many million hands played.
Quite a few micro players with 2.5 million hands badges.

they just need to remove the option to use lower badges if u have higher badge, this shouldnt be about deceiving people with 22 badge when u played 20mil hands.

my buddy told me using the 22 badge is a statement saying "why would anyone ever use the higher badges, who wants to tell everyone they are a reg, even if a bad one"

I love this! It's fun playing with real money players and I think it is excellent for the game. It spices it up. It is especially fun if you can knock them out.

I love Poker Stars, there all day long! Super fun! Best software, all the games. Disneyland for poker players. Name one site that matches Poker Stars and we shall talk. Poker Stars is the champ like Remax to real estate!

Name just one? Ok, ACR. Better software, better rakeback, run big tourneys regularly, offer nosebleed stakes, newly added splash pots which are actually quite fun, no rathole games...

Highest I've seen at the table was the QQ 2,5 milli badge. Watch next? KK 5m AA 10m or something? Don't know how they calculate it. From my own calculations I would be somewere between 5 and 6m hands most of them before 2014. But somehow I only can get a badge up to TT (1m hands)

Anyone else have none of them unlocked? I see some guys rocking even the KK badge for like 10 million hands but I have none unlocked with easily 1m+ hands played on my account? Support was no help just told me they unlock when you play enough hands lol

JJ is 2.5 million. QQ is 5 million. KK is 7.5 million. AA is 10 million.

sort of a clever move by stars to show to regulators poker is a game of skill.

their argument would be"player x has played 10 million hands and is still winning overall"

You have to view every poker site move at this point in the context of US regulation and other massive markets.

What would be most nr of hands anyone has ever played? Can imagine some sicko multitablers from the old days go into 40-50 Million hands played lifetime?

i would guess the most is no more than 20 million

I'm not sure about that. I suspect there are a few players who have played more than 20 million hands. Let's do the math for someone who has grinded PokerStars cash games full time for 10 years.

8 hours * 750 hands played in an hour * 365 days in a year * 10 years = 21,900,000 hands played.

No, I mean that he has played an average of 8 hours a day. Maybe he took an average of 20 days off per year. But on some days he played 12 hours. So it averages out to 8 hours a day.

Lol yeah someone is grinding that ammount of days in a year. Even if you take saturday off to get drunk it makes 52 days off.

Based on streams it counts every hand played no matter what format

Yes, obviously it is an insane amount of hands to have played. I'm not suggesting that it is normal to have played 22 million hands of poker on PokerStars. I'm suggesting that it is likely that there is at least one person who has done so.
