Hello there,

I have tried for a while to get back into my PokerStars account. I haven't played online poker seriously since like 2010. I have, through the years, logged into my account and played random tourneys no problem.

In 2020, however, I tried to log in and I got this message:

So I sent an email to support@pokerstars.com, and I haven't received anything back. Today I tried to log in again, and I got the same message. I kind of forgot about the whole thing. I went to look into the email address I used for poker, and I got this email sent to me by Support <support@starsaccount.eu> about a year ago:

Hello Jere,

Thank you for contacting Stars Support, we hope that you are well. Looking at your account we still require valid documentation.

The following document(s) you sent us can't be accepted:

• Government-issued photo ID

We're sorry that we can't accept the copies you sent us. This is because of one or more of the following reasons:

• The image is too dark to be legible
• The image is cropped
• The image is blurry
• The image resolution is too low
• Important parts of the document are concealed, which prevents us from verifying its authenticity

Please scan or take a digital photo of the document(s) again, and ensure that the images are legible, clear, uncropped, with a good resolution and that we can see the full information on the document.

Once we receive these documents, and we verify your account details, your account will be fully reinstated.

Any other questions? Just let us know

Regards,

Kevin

This went to my spam box. I tried visiting starsaccount.eu website, and I got the dreaded "NOT SECURE" SSL Padlock warning.

Is this legit? Can starsaccount.eu be trusted with my information?

I want to get back into my account as I have at least 10 Step 5s in there, if that is still a thing. Also, is it possible to change username?

Its legit. Not sure if ur step 5 tickets are still valid though. Never bunker tickets and/or coins on any pokersite no matter what. Use them as soon as possible.

And no in general its not possible to change username. Only under very special circumstances, for example if it contains personal information but u have to get in touch with stars support for this im not 100 % sure.
