Geolocation with LTE laptop?

Does anyone in the US play on a laptop that has built in LTE (that has GPS location built in to the chip)? I am wondering if this allows Stars to locate you without being close to WiFi.

I noticed that playing using the app on my phone, I can be located without WiFi hotspots around, and in the same spot my PC won't work, as it can't talk to the GPS in my phone and there are no hotspots around to triangulate me.

My assumption is Stars can locate me on my phone just fine, since it can directly communicate with the GPS module in my iPhone. That's what gave me the idea that an LTE laptop (with GPS on the LTE module) may work the same way.
