I don't play much but played a little today. Even though I hadn't earned any points for months I'm still on 2500 for a blue chest. Not that it is much but I've raked 337 points today so should be due a blue chest but now won't get anything until at least November.
I obviously cannot downgrade as there is no level below blue.

Again I know it's not much but why make it so difficult?

I've got maybe a bit weird question, but I'd like to know: does using tickets for Spin&Go that I bought in Rewards Store (for StarsCoins) have an impact on progression bar? I mean will I get the points if I'm not playing with cash but buying-in with ticket?

Hello everyone. Here in Greece for the last 6-7 years there is a peculiar tax system with pokerstars. Everyday pokerstars deducts 20% of daily profit. This daily deduction is huge (can lead to 50-60% tax on year basis), so pokerstars created a gap for greek players- they make it tax-free if you win less than 100 euros. So basically every player registers to future tournaments and everyday shows only 100E profit. Next day the same.
Why am I telling you this: For the last 1-2 years I couldnt enjoy any of the leaderboards or challenge prizes that regular players did, and the only excuse I found from Pokerstars was "Greece is not in the list of countries that benefit from the leaderboards". Due to the fact that these leaderboards where scarce I didnt really asked for more.

But now pokerstars starts giving rakeback again (up to 65%), and as I found out again I cannot get the montly rakeback because I am from Greece. This is Hugely unegual for me this time, because it is almost certain that due to the rise at rakeback regulars will play more in chasing their monthly challenge and EV is going to drop by a lot.
So players from Greece are going to see their EV drop a lot, and at the same time receiving no rakeback.
Please is anyone here from an other country facing the same problem? Does anyone knows more about the case?

It all just comes down to a specific countries regulations around gambling so stars are handcuffed.

PS didn't create the 100 euro daily tax free loophole. The Greek government did and players with some help from Stars is taking full advantage of it.

The lack of extra rakeback isn't due to any specific regulatory rule, but to higher taxes demanded by Greek legislation. As is the case with these things, the costs are passed to the consumer.

You can still get 25% rakeback, which is less than the 35% that you probably can take advantage of unless you put in Supernova ELite volume in which case, yes, you are losing the chance for 65% rakeback. But in that case, moving abroad becomes an option worthy of consideration.

EPC - In July i had 5000RP for $400 for 40% RB, did NOT complete
EPC - In Aug i had 2500RP for $200 for 40% RB, which i completed
EPC - In Sept i had 2500RP for $200 for 40% RB, which i completed

In Oct i had 3750RP (started month as gold chest) for $75 for 10% RB, did NOT complete.

Today Nov1 (im still at gold chest), i have same 3750RP for $75. Anybody who didn't complete it get a lower target amount?

I wonder if i exchanged my chest to the lower Silver if i would have got a lower target amount.... just wanted to hear about others. Cheers,

How are you getting such big challenges? My current challenge I got at the beginning of this month: "Earn 2000 redemption points to get 10% back in the form of a $40 cash reward." I am on gold chests right now.

No clue but i'm assuming its based on your past volume history. I did some calculations and it seems like the target RP required to complete the challenge they give you is about 1.5x your usual volume.

It sucks though. Id rather have yours and get $40 back than get $0.

In october I got 5k points for 100 USD, I didn't complete it as it'd mean playing 6666 SnG's for me

This month I have the same. I am not even going to opt in and let's see what happens next month.

Are you for real? You are getting 35% rakeback and only one month ago you were getting 3% rakeback or something.

at GG even if u hit 50% flat rb, its not real and in reality because you play more tables and hit the leaderboards they give you around 30% back, but u pay around 5bb/100 more rake

nop, one month ago i was getting 40% flat, now i have to grind it up to 25% chests rakeback and only get 10% from monthly challenge so its like 30-33% rb if i go full grind

at gg u get like 20-30% rbk with lowest pvi than u have the leaderboards which will add up to 50%, i would say in the end its similar since their rake is also higher. gg soft much better though

lowest pvi is 0.3 i guess, so even i f your affiliate give you 20%, its around 20% total
and if u want to hit reasonable places at leaderboards you have to play more tables and a lot of hours and then your winrate will suffer
the next thing to consider, the rake is 5bb more than at stars, so if you are 3bb winner at stars, you are losing player at gg, but ofc tables are softer on gg so lets say you re a 1bb winner but good luck with those swingz wit that winrate
