guys what chest level were u when month started and what monthly challenge u guys got, it might be a corelation betwean high chest level and higher monthly challenge, like i was silver and i got the 10% one a friend who is gold got the 40% one

I got 10 % challenge and I was on a silver chests.

Well, can't really clear it now, as it would mean playing 6666 HU SnG's. Which is doable, but not worth it, lol.

I exchanged the chests for the bronze ones. I should be able to get to the gold and see if I get a reasonable challenge next month.

@Itachi1234: what about your friend? Can he clear the 40 % chest? And is he a long term winner?

sorry not really friend just random discord guy so no info on that but would ask more people, can more players post here what they got and what level they were on?

i asked in livechat and the operator told me that all silver players got monthly challenge which is why i thought its related to chest level.

There may be something to that. My chest was bronze and I didn't get any challenge at all for October.

In August I got requirements 12.5K points for 1K (40%)
I failed of course so I expected they will lower the challenge in September (I havent played during September at all).

Todays surprise I got even bigger challenge 20K points for 1,6K (40%) ... I wrote to support about it in August to lower the challenge so I can be able to clear it, they said they re-sent it to the relevant department but no guarantees ... well they just dont care.

My silver chest is on 14 750 points mark. I cant change it for lower ones so I guess I have to clear it if I want to see if rewards are adjusted for new ones. But I will probably pass as I cant clear the challenge

I was Silver chest 14750 points per chest,saw the thread and tried to move to bronze and now it shows 935 points per bronze chest(like in their table).So that's fixed - for now!

Got back to stars 1 month ago and i saw i had the exclusive poker challenge - 12500 points for 1k$ reward. Finished it in 24-25 days playing only HU,then missclicked and claimed my second challenge (if i'm not wrong u can claim up to 5 challenges).So yeah i wasted my 2nd challenge.

Today i logged in and saw i got moved to 10 % rakeback ,now for 12500 points i get only 250$ reward.

It feels like Stars are trying to bait regs with the 40 % rakeback but the only improvement ,"maybe" will be the fixed chest points(15-20 % rakeback,which is still less than competitors), we will see.

It seems people with silver chest got 10% challenge. Would be nice to hear from others with gold or diamond if they got better challenges.

Anyway with new requirements it should be easy to get at least diamond and hopefully that will also come with 40% challenges next month.

I didn't get any challenge but I was on bronze level chest as I hadn't been playing on Stars. I asked support and they said its just going to certain players.

I was on bronze also and didn't get any challenge. Seems to confirm the theory that the challenge is based on the chest level you finish the month with.

So in the end, very good hype from PS three months ago, but they actually replaced 40% challenge for 10% and changed chest from 1-2% to 25% max for most of the players. Hmm from 40-42% to 35% RB total.

I get the challenge for over 2 years now , with RB at 75% more than advertised..

Same. They probably look if you finished with profit or not previous month.I cashed out some of the winnings i had ,maybe they take into account that also before moving you to the 10 % rakeback pool.

I figured that this was what they were doing but there seems to be a decent chunk of guys who are significant winners getting the 40% things month in, month out on a rolling basis. Over the last couple of years, I've had months where I've raked massive and months where I've raked hardly anything and never got one no matter what I do.

i feel sad about not gettiing 40% one, but i guess still better with new chests than just old 40% challenge u can grind at ur own pace, and not feel like a slave. also u can climb faster since money is coming more often from rb.

What promises did they break? Where did they write that everyone would get same conditions/rakeback?

The base program(Chests) was ment to be the same for everyone, and it is now. They never implied that everyone would get 40% rakeback challenges or get any challenge at all every month.

They should just copy GG with the buffet thing lol. Instead of different requirements for players, give every chest the same points requirement, except secretly change how many points per 1$ rake you get.

I guess transparency isn't valued after all.

I used to work there, and I'm not sure how it works either (if I did, prob can't talk about it). But can tell u it's always based on some sims they run.

Why not just treat your customers all the same?

Just give 25% rb flat to everyone and make the rest volume based.

Its just ****ed up that people get 40er, 10er or no challenge at all.

So some people have big edges over others. Imagine One Highstakes reg gets 35% and the others 65%, thats a big difference when it comes to battling for lobies etc.

Simple example:
500Spin RegA gets 65%
500Spin RegB gets 65%
500Spin RegC gets 35%
500Spin RegD gets 25% (no challenge at all)

RegA and B just playing 12 tbls each until RegC is dead or moves down. He will never get an edge over these two in the long run.

Announcing a great new era of rakeback and then delivering a reduction to a bunch of regs is the most PokerStars thing ever.

guys, the trial ended yesterday and now i see people complaining about being reduced to 10% rb...

i wasnt in the trial and i never ran above 2,1% rb, you are still one of the lucky few

but is it now 100% that they will enroll the rb system they trialed the last months for every player?

The chests are already implemented so if you get to black level you are guaranteed 25% rb minimum (exchange your chest for a lower level one if your current chest still requires a million points). The challenges so far seem to be a few people not get any at all, a majority getting 10% and a few getting 40%.
