I like to know if anyone here who play 12 tables or more experience lag. When i hit around that number of tables, the lag is unbearable where you can't even click on anything and its folds/sits you out.

Delete three folders with pokerstars name on them.

Start the pokerstars client. You will be given back the option to disable aurora graphics under table appearance->Table Graphics.

You will be asked to restart the client. Restart. Close the pokerstars client. Delete the three folders again as before. Start Pokerstars client.

Enjoy Old Pokerstars.

If you close the client you will have to delete the three folders again before restarting the client; OR you can leave the client opened all the time.
This was very helpful and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!

Unfortunately, today they released a new update for mac and I ( fishy ) decided to do it. Not sure if I could skip it tho. Anyways, this procedure doesnt help me any more, because this time I dont see the tab Table Graphics to disable it.

Any idea if we can still reverse it so we could keep playing on mac?

Thank you

Maybe this works: After installation on a new PC remove the PS program folder and copy PS program folder from the laptop to PC; launch pokerstars.exe.

It goes without saying that if you re going to be launching PS with pokerstarsupdate.exe, nothing is going to ever work, because each time you ll be getting the vanilla version.

When you guys says "clean cache", do you mean delete all files in the ImgCache folder? Would be nice if people could be a bit more specific. I tried to delete the "app.store" file like in the youtube video, but it didn't work.

I tried this since I found an old Fulltilt file on my Mac.
Unfortunately it installs first, then I am getting informed that the software is not supported anymore and they suggest that I should download their most recent piece of software (at) pokerstars (dot) eu. No thank you.

Yes. But if you updated to the newest version it might not work anymore.

Happens the same to me when I use PS. I found a old PS software on my laptop but can't use without updating. The weird thing is that on PokerStars.Es i can use the old themes perfectly.
