Does somebody know how to scroll the chat? - mouse scroll doesn't work under Aurora

Mods/Themes. The cards for PLO would need to be lowered marginally, but it is playable for PLO also, though Star's own cards are PLO easier when multitabling.

What comes to lags and heating, I have not had a problem since there has been some update (Windows10, driver, graphical, I don't know).

Anybody know how to remove aurrora and get hypersimple theme? or no way this update to do this?
I try with egacyPokerTable=1 but i got themes but i cant install it.

It seems to me that this time it is irreversible, I am also waiting for someone who has been able to change it, My multi-table gameplay went down a lot, which I think is what Pokerstars was looking for, lower the volume to the regulars and benefit the new ones players

Ofcourse that's the case, I was disabling Aurora then took a 4months break I am back at grinding the 18/45 and 180man SNGs and now I can't even disable Aurora anymore and the worst part is I can't run more then 16tables without lagging. I used to run 25-40 on a regular basis, it's impossible to get volume in now, unless ur playing a buyin higher then 30+ for the new "rakeback" have fun at this **** site. Every grinder I know at the 3.50-15$ turbos has quit since October 7th because you need volume at theese stakes 200+ games a day if u wan't to profit, noone of them have done a single game since early October on Sharkscope. They even put the 45 and 180mans on demand completly removed the 90man super knockouts and changed buyin structure with higher rake but "0.02%" better price for 1st! because they know they killed the best format Pokerstars ever created with this crap engine called Aurora.

they used to have good software, too bad.

Black, Hypersimple and Nova I miss thoose themes.

Also why force something on everyone that has alot of issues and not make or optional for thoose who wan’t fancy graphics objects moving around and cool sounds? Just like Pokerstars 4 and 5 updates back in the days.

because aurora looks cool for tournaments, where they can add interactive moving themed backgrounds etc, they couldnt do that on old soft

A few months in, how are you guys coping with Aurora? Have you overcome the growing pains?

Can you play as many tables as before? Is it still lagging?

Is there anything to be done about the lack of flashing on the taskbar buttons? I stack my tables and the blinking taskbar buttons help me find tables that require attention.

Does anyone else have an issue in which the replayer doesn't show you in your preferred seat?

I just wish they kept the old notes tab.
Regarding the lag I found a relatively simple solution: bought a new PC. eheh

I 've seen players say plenty of times that if you set animations to high, there's less lag with Aurora. However, I was just reading Pokerstars release notes and I came across this tidbit:
Basically, when you set Graphics quality to low, animations look slower and choppier; that's not lag however, it's the way it's supposed to be!

If you are experiencing such kind of problem, apparently you have an amd graphics card - catalyst.
The thing is that old Amd graphics card (Radeon HD 5xxx , 6xxx , 7xxx , 8xxx ) have to types of drivers: Catalyst and Crimson.
Aurora graphics don't get on well with catalyst , that's why the soft crashes after several moves after logging in the lobby.
During installation ,Windows 7/8/10 automatically installs Catalyst drivers.
All you have to do is to find out which model of Amd Radeon you have, delete Catalyst driver and install Crimson.
This worked for me.

I have intel integrated (and one non-integrated - that is more demanding and won't change the issue but to worse as so, and it is also better now); also as CPU, laptop Win10 and a top HDMI to monitor 28". Changed to no issues all by itself months ago. Used to have a huge lag and a freeze, CPU going to 100%, temperature close to 100C - and closing the laptop.
Not sure why it changed to better, but if there was no newer driver, and it won't get installed by itself when there is, then it wasn't the drivers in this case but Pokerstars.eu or Microsoft (driver or not) most likely, just that neither seems to be your case (until you have that AMD-issue).

How is it even possible to make this resource intensive poker client? We have few animation, few stuffs going on and our decently efficient PCs are brought to their knees with decent amount of tables? We have modern 3D-games with thousands of times the requirement that work relatively better... It just feels like this has to be on purpose to stop high multitabling, but even us doing this as a hobby cannot play really intensively anymore. I'd think making playing easier would attract more players than going other way...
Or then the software really simply is worse in performance than I can imagine, which makes me wonder how it is even possible. We have SSD:s, decent graphics cards, strong processors, lots of memory, and suddenly we are limited in tables we can play? Really?

It's so fn stupid. This should be f--- all for my computer.

I literally have 4 tables going and it crashes 5x minimum DAILY.
The lack of care from them on this is insane. Stars used to have killer support and techs.

This only started happening after the aurora update in december.
