Provincial licenses?
They have an interesting business model that seems
more focused on medical patients and online sales. They aren't the only grower to say that, of course. But they are using an online sales model initially as they scale up. This should launch soon, but it is a small trial.
TGOD
received a medical sales license from Health Canada in October, and more recently
finalized a supply agreement with Ontario.
Compared with other companies, however, I don't think their provincial supply agreements are all that substantial yet. But I'm not sure how much that means, right now.
They have operations/entry into
Mexico,
Jamaica, Europe via HemPoland, and the Canadian market.
Management seems heavily experienced with consumer packaged goods.
Potential negative catalyst: If a
settlement to move this growing facility were to fall through. City Council comes back at the end of March to vote.
Production will not begin to hit scale until Q4 at least, when Valleyfield 1A comes online--so there's another potential issue. The company, though it is clearly making progress, has been known to throw out a delay or three (though the last one
also came with a significant increase in capacity).
