I was just quoting you based on your statement that blockchain is only useful for digital scarcity. The Korean govt, right or wrong, is considering moving their national ID system onto a blockchain so there is another possible use case. Why would they want "an immutable database that they don't control" to house their data? Maybe because 5 years ago their database at the time was hacked and 80% of their citizen's data was compromised. So maybe they feel giving up control for better security is worth it. I really don't know and don't have a dog in the fight was merely pointing out that there could be a real world case that is causing a pump beyond "good tech, solid team".

Even with digital scarcity you need independent nodes to verify the blocks. A brief look at Icon and I see they have 'C-Reps' instead of independent nodes that I guess have to be voted in? If someone can hack the government I assure you they can also hack a 'C-Rep'.

I just found it interesting that a country like Korea was exploring the idea as a possible reason for the pump. 15k is definitely possible and may be even conservative considering BTC flashed from 7500 to 13500 over the course of 30 days in June 2019.

9800 and 9300 are good supports but a strong 10K would be great for the whole market psychologically.
