Heard on Crypto Vlog that 35 banks have signed on with Ripple and something is going online end of January.

So there is a 0.25 percent fee on bittrex. Well if you sell btc for usd on bittrex, that would be easy to calculate as its 0.25 percent x btc selling price. But when you are selling it for an altcoin like powerledger... how am i suppose to calculate it?

Would i divide the 1/0.0000xxx btc = ?

Then take that ? - either 0.25% on bittrex or 0.10% on binance?
Incredible that the greatest crypto troll of all time would choose this forum to bless with his wry satirical commentary on the pointlessly complicated nature of cryptocurrencies and the mindless, thoughtless greed of the adherents. Kudos good sir. I hope you publish a book of these when you're finished.

Here's the relevant calculation for you including all necessary figures: buy zero Bitcoin, buy zero altcoins, pay zero fees, make zero trades, control zero wallets, use zero exchanges. Keep 100% of your money, waste zero time.

This is crazy growth. Tempting not to shove all your savings into these coins. Not sure if I should be happy or sad that coinbase and gemini make it hard to deposit large amounts
99% of the coins are positively correlated with the price of Bitcoin.

I have $3000 to burn. What is the best coin to put it in? LTC? ETH? BTC? Ripple? IOTA?

$Fun / Funfair. Go play on showcase.funfair.io for 15 minutes on testnet, and you will buy Funfair tokens. Update coming Dec 20, and going live with casinos Q1 2018. Rivals are Playtech with 3.4bil market cap. CEO is JezSan who started PKR.com & made starfox game. They just hired David Greyling who was International Managing director at William Hill before. Won Ico of year at Malta iGaming Awards despite the other 2 nominated both sponsoring the conference.

No, the developers have said not as poker is a declining market whilst gambling is increasing. Also multiplayer games make hard to ensure no cheating, though the CEO Jez is a big fan of virtue poker but that is a long way off.
Another + for funfair is that they still have 13,000 of the eth they raised they haven't yet converted to fiat, meaning lots of liquid assets when needed, plus they currently have 30 staff and soon to rise to 60 based in London. This isn't some amateur hour crypto company like many. Yep sounds like I'm shilling, I am I guess, its my biggest hold by far. Just play the games on mobile and you'll see the potential, and they're constantly adding new games and updating the showcase.

Yes I've posted it once in this thread a long time ago. It might currently be a downgrade on online casinos, but this is the alpha, beta is live soon. It is all on blockchain, so it is first time people can gamble and it is provably fair. No need for auditors, no need for paying companies loads to develop games for you and keep them updated, it will undercut every other casino creator by a long way and that is how you get big disruption.

Why does coinbase only offer 3 crypto coins? Don't they make all their money off fees?

Their CEO has said they are aiming to add more in the next year. Scaling is an issue.

I kinda think 320-330 is another good buy point for LTC though I've always been bullish about it.

Hello,

Does anyone own Monero? Any suggestions on where and how to buy in most secure way possible? What about Dash?

Thank you

For Monero and Dash use Binance? Get a little bit of Binance Coin first then your fees are half

Thx for the update. I have been holding this one since August and been getting killed on it. Down like .2 bitcoins. Alt coins are so sick. Somehow i have manged to lose 3k in value on a 1k investment. In dollar terms I am barely up on it. I need a 3x just to get even. LOL

Anyone using bitstamp at the moment? Recommend/not recommend? Currently on Coinbase but looking at other currencies.

I assume they don't have wallets on the site similar to Coinbase?

This is a bit of newb question but with all these alt coins you guys are gambling on -- do you store them in the same wallet or do you have to have a separate bitcoin wallet, a ether wallet, a litecoin wallet, dash wallet, etc etc and save/keep the private keys for every single one?

btc, bch, ltc, and eth, etc, maybe couple others (dash) can all be stored on trezor or ledger under a single seed.

for coins like xmr, iota, nmc, and couple others, you'll have to use the desktop clients for each of them. But soon enough, those hardware wallets will also support xmr and some others...

You can also store XLM on a Ledger Nano S. There is a stellar app on the Ledger app store. You can use that in conjunction with any stellar wallet that allows for Ledger use. I believe the only two that currently allow it are:

- The Stellar Account Viewer (light client)
- Lupoex
- The Stellar Desktop Wallet may support it as well, I am not sure.
