In addition to Omar’s comment, the market is accounting for counter-party/centralization risk and the risk of pending regulation. Moreover, given that this market is very risk-on, a lot of people pass on fixed income.

Go to Celsius where you can earn 10.2% base and bonus boosts if you hold their native token; Cel just upped their stablecoin rate last week

They hold a Q&A every Fri on their YT channel and their CEO Alex Mashinsky is super involved and also the biggest holder of assets on the entire network. They are very open with everything going on which I really like; big fan of Celsius.

Def check out their Promo codes too, can earn on your first deposit/xfer into acct along with some others as well

10.02%, not 10.2%. See https://celsius.network/rates/

For comparison, these are the stablecoin interest rates offered by some other major players in this space (as of 11/17/21):
BlockFi: 9% on the first 40,000, 8% thereafter
Nexo: 8%
LEDN: 9.5% (USDC only)
FTX: 8% on the first $10,000 on the platform, 5% thereafter
Gemini: 8.05% on GUSD, 7.99% on others
Crypto.com: 10%
YouHodler: 12.3%

I too am a big fan of Alex Mashinsky and the Celsius Network. He and his company are very transparent about their actions and the underlying mission and values. To anyone who has not heard of him, I recommend watching this interview:

"gamified" defi. they steal a lot of mechanics from Iluvium, which probably steals mechanics from other places.

This is a shitcoin for a yield farmer. You can probably get in cheaper than now. A few whales have a whole lot of supply.

There really is no point anymore to keeping USD in banks beyond what you need to pay this month's bills. Plenty of places to earn ~10% interest on USDC with extremely low risk.
Where can I get 10% with low risk?

Shiryo-Inu is an NFT trading card game similar to Hearthstone, Yugioh, Pokemon, Magic The Gathering etc... but will have a play-to-earn element, some of which will be similar to poker where can battle opponents heads up in wager rooms for agreed upon amounts like in SNG's

I was fortunate and found this a few days in at 10 milly MC and then loaded up more on a dip down to 3 mill. Over the next few days it caught buzz/began massive marketing and it peaked around 150-160 mill MC. It floored back around 80-100 and then came back some more with the rest of the market. It currently sits at 70 mill MC at the time of this post.

It's just now approaching 1 month old and already has 30k+ holders from almost exclusively Uniswap. They added an exchange this week and more on the way. Things have been moving quickly. Here are a few things already done in the first few weeks.

-Completed Certik Audit with renounced contract/liquidity locked
-Launched their DAPP where you can mint packs of cards to be used in the game or sold in the marketplace once available
-Launched Staking where you can earn packs of cards weekly
-Doxed their CEOand held a few AMAs and explained some of their game mechanics.

One cool thing I liked was the element of chance, where you don't get to choose the opponents beasts that you attack, but a random one on their board is chosen. Similar to poker where you never know what flop or turn will come out and help a weaker hand etc...it should prevent the game from becoming too solved or skill based like chess, where the best players and decks will always crush everyone. Should add more strategy as well

- In 11 hours their NFT avatars will also be available to mint, which will be used in game or can be sold

Having the word INU in their name has also grabbed a bit of the meme coin market, but also makes it sound a bit more scammish/amateur imo. The Devs have said they would consider dropping the Inu from name at some point.

Alpha/Beta for the game should be released in Dec./Jan. ish - for which they will onboard twitch streamers from other trading card games and continue to spare no expense when it comes to marketing. They also have plans for creating a type of metaverse or possibly buying land in other ones where matches could take place. All of that is just discussion for now and I'm sure would be voted on by the DAO.

TLDR... NFT trading card game with play-to earn that I thought some ppl on this forum might find interesting. If successfully delivered could have massive upside, as I'm not aware of a similar type of game in crypto that is close to being released. Obv not financial advice but research it if interested

does anyone know what is going on ADA and its "regulatory concerns". eToro removing it from its platform has really effected the value.

The eToro story is classic FUD. Small exchange delists two cryptos (ADA and TRON) based on perceived regulatory concerns. On the same day, BitStamp, an exchange that handles about 10 times the volume of eToro and is subject to the same regulatory framework, chooses to add ADA to its listings. Which story gets publicized and why? That's the question you should be asking.

I'm using Solend on Solana to earn interest on USDC. Celsius, Nexo, and BlockFi also offer around 10% interest. As well as all the Ethereum network options I'm not that familiar with.

If I’m reading that right it will cost about 2k to buy enough cards to play the game? Is that correct?

Poking around on Raydium and Tulip...the APR on some LP's is ridiculous. Obviously I don't expect these to last long and risk of impermanent loss etc, but at 500%+ APR with $15M+ locked in on some pairs I'm very curious on others' experience here over the past 3-6mo vs. staking single tokens at much reduced APR (~15%).

defikingdoms has been good. they are ramping up the gamification with expanded hero questing and item chains. I've got some seeds growing in the garden

MCC has been a shitcoin shitshow. Devoted following with quite a lot of holders, a broken contract, internal drama, community drama, v2, and the list goes on.

ACYC is a fixed version of the MCC contract with no inflation. I know a couple of the advisors and they are sharp OGs in the space. It has some big boy potential.

I’m invested in VR related coins with my biggest gamble being on Somnium Space Metaverse. The crypto for that platform is called CUBE. It only trades on Gemini atm.

My thinking for metaverse crypto is that both crypto and the metaverse are hot right now and with Christmas coming up a lot of people are going to be getting VR headsets and will be looking for places to use them. Somnium Space is a high end VR metaverse that is already built and ready to play. When they start getting more players after Christmas CUBE crypto is likely to perform really well. I also like it because it hasn’t been listed on Coinbase yet and I believe a listing is likely to be imminent as it makes sense from both sides of the demand equation. Coinbase doesn’t want to lose customers to Gemini if that is the only place they can go to be able to participate in the game.

Hi mate, very interesting, thanks.

What is the link between Coinbase and Gemini?
Virtual Currency - Alt Coin Discussion Thread Quote

Coinbase and Gemini are two of the main exchanges in the United States. Usually if a coin gets listed on one of those exchanges there is a good chance it gets listed on the other eventually from what IÂ’ve seen.

Metaverse coins are easy to list from a regulatory standpoint because gaming coins already have well established use cases so they almost never are not listed because their structure violates securities or some other law.

If Coinbase doesnÂ’t list CUBE they might lose potential customers to people that want to own the crypto to be able to participate in the game. So I predict because there arenÂ’t any regulatory barriers and because the game is legitimate that Coinbase is likely to list the Coin pretty soon. With that extra demand the price is likely to go much higher IMO. I also think Binance will list it as well.

The reason I like Somnium Space the most is because the market cap is lower and SAND and MANA have already become very valuable. I just think the potential upside is higher.
