This is not a shill nor a recommendation (I don't really even follow crypto, this just popped up on my Twitter feed), but could be of interest to some people ITT.

Apparently Ben Goertzel, aka the AI genius behind SingularityNET is going to be on Joe Rogan's podcast on Tuesday. Assuming Twitter is correct (cbf to check) it's the first blockchain product ever to be discussed on his podcast.

IDK how many listeners Rogan has but he's got over 4 million Twitter followers, so feels like that could help AGI and maybe DBC too. Especially if Dr Goerzel brings Sophia the robot with him.

I seem to vaguely recall jmo shilling this coin pretty hard too but it's been quite a while.

Hes had Andreas antonopolous talk crypto at least 3x on his podcast.

But will give this a listen.

If the current crash is affecting you much you overinvested in a highly volatile market.
At this point current losses arent affecting me anymore and hopefully i can improve my decisions compared to the previous year with some nice entry point if i pick wisely.
Probably better to have some ST rage than no comments at all, a bit stunned to see how quiet it is in here now. Interest is definitely dying with the prices, nice little anecdotal evidence on our forum here where crypto posts have dried up.

Public interest in altcoins is dead imo. No way my 'normie' friends who jumped head first into the 2017 bubble are ever coming back.

There may be some minor excitement when BTC pulls everything along with it but the days of ICO mania and 10-100x pumps are gone forever.

Last year was a fun ride though.

Starting to think VR could get really popular in next couple years. I've noticed already it seems to be trending a bit. Obviously there is MANA but I wonder if there are any others to look at.

going to buy more ICX but waiting to see if BTC drops again before getting more.

I jumped the gun a few years ago on VR, buying up a bunch of domains to hopefully flip. Then having used VR, a few years and watching it develop, my conclusion is it's like 10 years off. Its far too clunky now and nowhere close to mainstream

The problem of all altcoins is bitcoins’ dominance on the market. So the altcoins are subject to repeat ‘the kings’' patterns. Apart from it, there are some good projects with real-world usage but most coins will die. The sooner it will happen, the sooner good altcoins will flourish. If you guess the right coin, you can make a good profit. I think that ZEC is undervalued, so I change some my bitcoin on this altcoin on CEX ( https://cex.io/zec-btc ) with agreeable fees. However, there is always uncertainty in the crypto market and a coin in which grows you could never believe may skyrocket.

As much as I hate bcash It's up ~150% in the last week.

You know, like the good old days when you could put money on anything and it doubles every week.

Just curious. But i assume a very tiny percentage of people made money in crypto this year right? Thus very few percentage of even pro traders made money this year?

Got a decent bounce, think we head lower now! Don't think we ever see $1000, but I guess $1200-1600 is possible but that's a real stretch!

I think we hit $2200-2500 as an absolute bottom, if we haven't bottomed already, which I don't think. Otherwise $2800-3000.

Going to wait and start laddering for a long position, I'll start at $3000, add at $2500 and $2000. If we happen to drop further, I am going to seriously think BTC has some fundamental flaws and serious issues.

that seems a horrible idea. wait until something structurally changes... there was a recent rebound...but what changed? nothng...all conds accomplishing about not much. untill you see something getting traction...no price is a bottom
