But things that often signaled at the very least counter-trend rallys are showing up in the screeners I've built.
I use a similar indicator to the TD Sequential (coded my own) and I built screeners that alert me for all stocks, commodities, and crypto (which I'm fully focused on now because prices have fallen so far).
The crypto screeners I built are flashing 9s in patterns that have signaled reversals before and they're showing up on multiple older, more stable alts (DASH, LTC, VTC) at the same time WHILE we're seeing selling volume lessen on each BTC panic dump (simple RSI is useful for this).

My current project is building some screening algorithm for volume and at its most basic level for what I have done now it's showing that you want to be a buyer of the coins you believe in when volume is low and a profit-taker when the volume is high. I've only gone through polo. coins thus far but I'm seeing volume levels at their lowest for a lot of coins for the past 400 days. So this kind of goes against all the plebs on twitter who scream "not enough volume..not a bottom".

So for me there's:

1) TD sequential screeners saying consider buying
2) Volume at levels which historically signaled good buy areas
3) RSI signaling sell exhaustion
4) Bearish Sentiment / Saltyness in Crypto Twitter

LTC interests me most right now as it led us into the peak mania phase and also started to fall first. It's over 80% off its peak ATH already and lines up with all the above. (plus it was one of the most bought coins by all the noobs near or @ the Top).

DASH has performed/held up probably the best amongst big alts against BTC. Wish I actually liked the coin because then I would've sized in more.
Sold LTC & DASH way too early but already begun buying LTC again.
Hopefully tonight/tomorrow BTC flushes to 6950-7100 so that XMR hits 125$.

LTC / XMR / DASh (maybe) only things I'm looking to buy besides BTC until ETF gets denied.

If there are alts you believe in...I think many will have a "waterfall" trade where prices appear to be piercing LAST HOPE SUPPORT ZOMG and then create a dramatic V. obv. pretty risky so make sure it's something you're willing to hodl and don't trade it on margin.

see NAV/BTC on 6h or 12h for what I'm talking about for "waterfall".
XMR/BTC is kind of making one now and this coin is obviously not going to 0 so easy buy.

IT can be tempting to go alt hunting - most coins are very far from accomplishing anything relevant. IT will be a graveyard no different that the dot com bubble. it wont slow down investment in crypto, or blockchains, it will just mean a ton of capital will be destroyed chasing alts and few winners will emerge.

i wouldnt have to much coin loyalty right now. the ecosytem is desperate for relevance....stick to coins that have near term results / progress...the rest are going to compound pessimisn with thier lack of progress

Just buy and hold the stuff you like for the long term and sell when price pumps get unsustainable, rebuy whenever, repeat. Maybe set some limit orders to sell and hope a whale buys in, augur being the most recent example.
