So they learn to recognize actual value quicker next time. So they learn not to trust marketing BS. So they learn to do due diligence before buying something.

This will make it more unlikely they fund scammers in the future, and more likely they 'fund' Bitcoin. This sounds like a win to me.

Plenty of hyped stuff has lost enough to teach a big lesson: nano and verge come to mind. It doesn't need to go to zero. And as long as exchanges like cryptopia exist, trading literally the worst trash possible, it'll stick around.

I'm sure a huge portion of ICO's arn't even listed anywhere, so thats a lot of donuts at least.

I cashed out my ltc before charlie lee did and i bought back since because I thought the valuation was more reasonnable, the fact that he sold or not doesnt affect at all my opinion about the coin, I think you are focusing on the wrong metric that's all.

I m confident LTC has more value than you think because of that kind of stuff :
