I'm a Twitter addict basically. It's improved drastically. Twitter spaces are great. My favorite part. They are going to start an automatic ad revenue split with ads in replies for creators. The quality of the ads I see improved about 3 or 4 months ago. You can upload 2 hour videos now too. Only bad thing I saw is the blue checkmark was supposed to decrease the ads you see but it hasn't noticably. I dont really care because the ads are so good now it's almost like scrolling through content. Seen a lot people get hacked lately. I think it's avoidable if you never click on stranger DM's.

I don't spend any time on twitter and don't have an account. I just went to the homepage with and scrolled the default feed for a bit. There were exactly 0 posts that were political, conservative or otherwise. Vast majority of posts were about soccer, followed by dogs. The strong bias you experienced is probably because of your algorithm, not because of some default push to promote that content.

Agreed, only on twitter for Crypto Twitter and I spend half the time blocking and muting random suggestions on my feed. Basically people gaming the algorithm by posting hateful content to drive engagement. I've blocked andrew tates content so many times yet still appears on my feed. Doesn't seem like there are any rational/centrists on there anymore.

Personally believe an alternative with some form of moderation, with the backing of mainstream media/popular figures could easily overtake them, particularly if it has user friendlier interface.

Using the muted words feature which doesn't seem to hide the conspiracy/racist/trad BS as well. Muted [left,right,woke, woke agenda, lgbt, tate, andrew tate, racist, race, traditional]

Worst thing trump did was destroy confidence in the msm leading to Rogan and his ilk gaining an insane amount of influence. Think we're slowly realising that isn't the way as well.

I think the vaccine should be questioned whether it is misinformation or not. I'm a healthy young man, why do I need to get the vaccine against the sniffles. Putting the question out there and not being scared is a form of integrity in my opinion, that's all I meant.
