Trucks I didn't **** on

GM models
Toyota models

Cybertruck will never overtake either of these in the next decade.

Literally nobody will drive a cybertruck until they overhaul the design.

I'm sure they already have a redesign ready to go that looks like every other truck

btw... no discussion of how the cfo just left from one day to the next two weeks after earnings? and they just let the cao do the cfo role aswell? for a $700b dollar company? weird how they don't bring an outside or junior person into that role... ah well, nevermind. probably all good.

I wish I could bet against this. I would take Tundra's sales in 2026 over Cybertruck sales for your net worth.

All signs pointing to cybertruck being vaporware and a complete bust are no matter. They will make it up in futuristic battery technology and Teslabots because Elon is a one-of-a-kind genius. To the moon!

Not sure about all signs, according to rumors and videos they are making 10/day already so should be a few ready by the end of the quarter.

Here we have two vaporware products in one video:

of course everyone thinks it looks ugly as ****. Why else would they be producing "10 trucks a day (according to rumor and photo)" with a supposed 1.9 million order backlog? Their production capacity is like 1.5 million vehicles a year.

I don't think they are even producing 10 a day. I don't think you can find a picture in existence with more than 5 in one place at one time.

If they thought there was demand they would be producing them in the parking lot and filling orders

I mean maybe I'm behind the cultural zeitgeist here but I agree, I can't see 1 person I know rolling in that thing lol

Here is 9 of them, was posted earlier:

According to rumors from a reliable source(with a good track record) Tesla are asking employees at Austin who have orders if they want to take delivery.

so apparently elon did a stream of how well and awesome their AI is and how fsd will surely work next year, just like he has been saying for the last 7? 8? 9? years, and elon's tesla tried to run a red light. which is funny, because that seems like one of the more easier fsd problems to solve. but everything is fine, fsd next year, definitely. lol

FSD is unaware of:
-Speed limits
-Weather conditions e.g. snow, rain

Wow!

FSD is trained by watching videos of how humans drive cars.

It can understand road signs without reading them.

FSD will just "intuitively" figure it out.

That's nuts

It's an unreleased beta version of their next release. It will have new bugs that they will try to remove most of before it goes wide/public. If they are correct they just need to ask the fleet for similar situations and add it to the dataset and retrain the end2end and it should learn to not make that mistake again. Just got to figure out what errors are left.

One mistake in the entire video is actually pretty good. A year ago mistakes were a lot more frequent even in the wide releases.

Basically by going from V11 to V12 they will first move down from the previous local optimum but hope to have a higher gradient and soon reach better performance than they had with V11.

They seem very confident that end2end will soon be a lot better than their previous system. Time will tell!

oh, well then. seems like all is fine. hope they find enough edge cases of "red light" in their dataset to fix this teeny tiny bug. fsd next year for sure.

oh yes. very good for sure. only would have caused one crash in like 45 minutes of driving on near-empty roads. it's not like there are like halve a dozen competitors who drive 20.000-100.000 miles per disengagement in dense city traffic or something like that.*

Rumor has it that Tesla is rewriting the complete FSD stack to comply with the sub 10 micron quality.

The engineers must be happy. They'll be busy.

Like I said, it is good for being an internal release of a new architecture of a total rewrite. Did the competitors have no bugs in their internal releases? But yeah look at those sweet cracks, I am sure this will be the story that finally vindicates the bears after all these years!

Question to the TSLA bears. How much mind space do you give to TSLA vs how much you give to VinFast? Shouldn't VinFast also be a good candidate to short? Or is it only TSLA that is extremely overvalued according to you?

yes, that's ridiculously overvalued, too. but i doubt that one's going to take years to trade back to earth.

they will probably use the insanity of speculators and raise a few billion in new capital soon. which will increase the float and pop the balloon.

vinfast is extremely expensive to borrow, if you even get some shares. tesla is cheap. can short it basically for free.

It's not a true market cap for VinFast. The float is tiny. The vast majority of the shares are held by the founder and not trading. So to extrapolate the squeeze/pump/exuberance of a tiny float to the entire company and declare it has a larger market cap than VW is absurd. If they tried to raise significant capital with more shares the price would crater.

The cybertruck reminds me of Twisted Metal for Playstation

Imagine those graphics in 2023

Didn't take years. If only I had as strong conviction on VinFast as bears ITT have about Tesla...

"If they are correct"! Bro, after how many failed re-writes, HW2, HW3, HW4, V11, V12... you're still giving them the benefit of the doubt that this time finally they know what they're doing? They seem "very confident" this time! Get a ****ing grip. Elon called full autonomy basically a solved problem in 2016.
